TeaBaggers Storm WW2 Memorial to protest the shutdown of the memorial caused when the TeaBagger shutdown of the Government!
Quoted Text
"Beginning at about 9:30 a.m., Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) as well as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), were among the luminaries in a crowd that chanted 'Tear down these walls!' and sang 'God Bless America' as well as other patriotic songs as they entered the memorial, which has been closed since the government shutdown that began Oct. 1."
The irony of the fact that they caused the shutdown that they are protesting seems to be lost on the group!

TeaBagger protesters actually think the President closed war memorials on purpose during the government shutdown. Former Vice Presidential candidate and half term Alaskan Governor, along with Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, are leading a Tea Party protest outside the White House.
The protesters hold the misguided belief that President Barack Obama deliberately closed war memorials during the government shutdown. Palin and Cruz both took the stage for the crowd, making the implication that the Obama Administration is playing political games with the nation’s future, nevermind the fact that it is the Republican Party’s refusal to bend on the funding of Obamacare that is the reason the government is shutdown right now in the first place.

Actually the event was called the Million Vet March and it was not a Tea Party, those were your brothers in arms box
"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."
“THEY told me,” Martin Sheen’s Willard says to Marlon Brando’s Kurtz in Apocalypse Now, at the end of a long journey up the river, “that you had gone totally insane, and that your methods were unsound.”
Kurtz murmurs: “Are my methods unsound?”
And Willard replies: “I don’t see any method at all, sir.”
This is basically how reasonable people should feel about the recent conduct of the House Republicans.

Sarah Palin Decries The Use of "Vets as Props" While Using "Vets as Props" at Million Vet March
For simple minded TeaBaggers, of course, they never made that connection!
Palin said, “Well, I’m here to hopefully help show the veterans that America’s heart for our veterans is immeasurable, and we think it’s atrocious that our military is being used as a political pawn in a political game, and we’re gonna change that.
In the typical TeaBagger fashion, the million vet march did not feature a million vets. (Possibly a few thousand) It didn’t draw a million protesters, and it was protesting the government shutdown that the tea party caused.

Geesh box why are you trashing your fellow brothers

Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch, a conservative political advocacy group, said the country is "ruled by a president who bows down to Allah," and "is not a president of 'we the people.'"
"I call upon all of you to wage a second American nonviolent revolution, to use civil disobedience, and to demand that this president leave town, to get up, to put the Quran down, to get up off his knees, and to figuratively come up with his hands out"
TeaBaggers are still fighting the last two elections. As stated often on this board, these people can't accept that they have a black man as US President.
Almost 5 years after Obama's inauguration, they still won't accept the will of the American People. "We hope he fails"... has shut down the govt, and will shut down our economy, as they run the country off a cliff.

None of my 'brothers' were there. My brothers took an oath to 'defend and protect the constitution' not shut down the govt in a failed attempt to overthrow the elected and reelected president of the USA.

This is what "My Brothers" have to say about the TeaBagger Shutdown:

The troublesome claims backlog at the Veterans Affairs Department will start to pile up even more a month after the start of the government shutdown, getting farther behind each day the government remains closed beyond that. “Claims processing and payments in the compensation, pension, education, and vocational rehabilitation programs are anticipated to continue through late October,” according to an updated VA shutdown guide. “However, in the event of a prolonged shutdown, claims processing and payments in these programs would be suspended when available funding is exhausted.”

I saw TeaBaggers at that rally, and a few corrupt politicians using the few US Military who showed up.
As far as "once a Marine, always a Marine"... for Henry that phrase is only words. He'd never understand it's meaning.

What you saw and what is was is two different things, you probably seen a Gadsden flag is automatically assumed Tea Party, in fact I know that is what you thought judging by your 1st post. You didn't even know it was a veterans march until I told you, even after I posted the truth you seem to be in denial.

Obama took an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution --- and then takes a walk when it comes to actually sending a budget to Congress or actually WORKING WITH and NEGOTIATING WITH Congress on the budget and the national debt. It was Obama's lack of leadership and refusal to work with Congress that shut the government down. BTW -- the lamest argument is that Congress has no right to try to undo Obamacare. Regardless of what one's opinion is about this law or any other law, Congress has ALWAYS had the Constitutional perogative and authority to a) repeal an existing law and b) refuse to appropriate money to pay for the enforcement of a law. The lame stream media and our own lame excuse for a representative seem to think that once a law is passed, it can never be undone. If that were the case then we would still have slavery, women would no be allowed to vote ... not to mention the laws that restricted voting to people owned a certain amount of property or who were registered members of certain churches (those laws were on the books well into the 1830's and 1840's) .. and were repealed.
Box was a Marine? For what country? Couldn't have been for the U.S.A.
