Schenectady cops search for beating suspects

By Paul Nelson
Updated 5:24 pm, Thursday, September 26, 2013

SCHENECTADY — City police say a man was hospitalized Thursday after being beaten — possibly until he was unconscious — on a city street by three or four youngsters, in what police are calling a gang assault.

The victim, whose identity is not being released, was taken to Ellis Hospital for head injuries, police said. The beating occurred shortly before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Hulett and State Streets in the city's Hamilton Hill neighborhood, police said.

Yep, the city is improving.  All those tens, hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars given to rich developers for projects downtown, hiking taxes on the financially struggling city homeowner so they can pay the taxes of the rich downtown, it's all helping the neighborhoods.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

You got to be nuts to walk around that sh*t hole part of the city, the gangs loiter around that area like flies.

The worst gang by far is the Scum Nayboobs.

The worst gang in Schenectady dresses up in suits and meet at the County Leg and plotting ways on how they are going to extort money out of innocent people.  Truly vile human beings.

Yet we still pay these gangsters to come live here? Wait, I was told that what I've been saying all along about gang members from downstate causing the crime problems on the Hill and in MP was "found not to be true". Never mind that we see that the man convicted of Eddie Stanley's murder was a gang member from downstate. Shut off the spigot, Schenectady has more than enough subsidized housing for "the poor".
Albany was ahead of us in this regard, they actually have businesses that have to close down when middle school age children get out for the day, but I see we are catching up.
That grandmother who beat her grandson to death? She was trying, in her distorted way, to prevent the boy from joining the ranks of the young kids who roam about freely, committing whatever kind of crime presents itself. The women can't do it alone.

That's right Madam, the spigot has to be turned off!!!

Wonder how many people have applied and received benefits in Schenectady County in the last decade or so.

Think the number has gone down? Or do we know that the lifers and abusers of welfare fraud come to the City because they are pretty comfortable in knowing that they will never be cut off or receive an audit?

It's the only way the County and City can keep getting people into the City...hand out benefits while looking the other way. Lots of PO Boxes getting a Schenectady County welfare check.

Good luck to our police officers that find this scum polluting every neighborhood. They don't have a chance of cleaning up the City if the County refuses to clean up their side of the fence. It's just going to keep getting worse ....

every single mother who works as a CNA in the county....making $10-$15/hour on the table makes one able to get
benefits....forget about paying the taxes on a home from habitat for humanity.....
