EXCELLENT report by Greg Floyd, and there is Vince Riggi telling the truth, stating UNDISPUTABLE facts about the city.

Hopefully the people note that come election time

There should have been much more said about the mayor and his dem council people---those running for election--wanting to give the position to someone who the law does not allow to be appointed.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

I did miss that. Thanks, MC and rp.
This is why Schenectady still offers Section Eight. They need voters who didn't pay for it. The shorter residency requirement for voting these days is a scam, too.

So funny how McCheesy tried to dance his way around the question about affordability of a non-certified assessor...oh, "it won't cost the taxpayers any more money". You know, why are we appointing people who do not have the right qualifications for positions paying almost $100K?

Oh wait...that's how Gillen got his job.

You're welcome.
