If you have abandoned or foreclosed homes sitting there empty on your street, it automatically makes the rest of the houses worth less. Drop the confiscatory taxes to something reflecting the real value of these houses, fire the realtor who doesn't understand how the market works, send the Mayor down to the cattle pens to get an idea of how well he is doing.
Knocking houses down, for that South Bronx or Detroit look, is less to be desired than fixing them. Better to get people into as many of these homes as possible, before they are unsalvageable. All the time they are wasting while things get worse and worse... and someone who thought she was cute hindering the people's representative, Mr. Riggi, as he struggled to get a true picture of where we stand, she's taking off. Absolutely sickening. |
