So folks our illustrious Supervisor & Deputy Supervisor Failed to show up at tonight's meeting to answer questions on the REMS situation. Mr Calder & his $13,500 raise was supposed to lead the discussion. How's THAT for Leadership? And during the meeting, in the dark, Mohawk Ambulance moved into the Senior Center. I hear they are setting up an apartment for them at the cost of Rotterdam Tax Payers I suppose. Go to the Dec 5 Board Meeting. They have to show up there. This is FAR from over. I hear there's even a request to have the state look into this whole mess & how it went down. Maybe Heads Will Roll.

and ....the meeting last nite???.....glad that people are finally aware of the under-handed tactics the REGIME is using..

If the scene was chaotic....then WC  and HB should have shown up with protection......these men were in law enforcement

and they didn't know  what to do??   They are officials and they could have gone and shown the Town what they are made of...

AND...RW.....chiming in with the REGIME.....matters are now worse because of the no show.....(and RW hassled someone with some kind

I heard she did her normal routine of covering up for the dems and then declared that b/c the people there don't normally go to town board meetings, they didnt have a right to speak out. All that was missing was Jack Shiely trying to cover up for them too, like he did at the senior center 2 years ago.

I think Buffonti needs to resign, people have no faith in him.

Clarification of my response to gadfly.  Suhrada's assessment about the cops was accurate.

JS sits on the fence...he smoozes whatever side is in command.........he needs to go too........new blood in all chairs....

throw anyone that needs to be thrown under the bus.....but this time .....the REGIME has to go...

along with all the cohorts......

AND  find another house for the new ambulance......Sr Ctr ....watch how that goes....and how extreme favors will come about....

AND it goes to show you that this town have a "GAG" order when it comes to the residents speaking out.....who has the right to say that

those people did not belong at this meeting....discriminating and intolerable statement......

I don't think it is the fact that Mohawk is the provider...as much as it is HOW the ROTTENdam town board handled this matter. It was clearly underhanded. And that is what has the folks pi$$ed off.

REMs had years to get their act together and didn't....from a business point of view that is.

And they clearly should have seen this coming with the outcome of the last 2 elections.

Just look at who's directing the ship?

The goernment in Rotterdam has not gotten it......iot is a BUSINESS>>....not a greed mill....this REGIME has to go...and there's 2 more years

Power greed and personal agenda.....Villan and Larmour have to do their job for the people......

change the rules of the Privilege of the floor......people need to speak their minds BEFORE the vote on resolutions....

and a clear understanding of what the vote is for.....

I saw rather lengthy coverage of that meeting on WTEN last night, but they didn't do such a good job of explaining who was who, just showed people I do not recognize speaking, so I couldn't make sense of it. Doesn't matter anyway, Schenectady city is the sinkhole, and Rotterdam is sliding in.

they are in it....no way but DOWN........doesn't matter who spoke....about time the residents had a change to speak.....

like it or not RW.......strong arm tactics will be on the way out......as will all those who professed their underhanded reasons for what has happened.

They really showed what they are made of.......

The "new ambulance" will not be permanently stationed at the Senior Center....it is only temporary,
