I took it to mean that he is frustrated with the way crime is reported in this country, as I am, and many others are as well, black males as victims of other black males, no notice, increasing black-on-white crime, covered up, 20 adults raping a child, people are trying to inject racism into the story. How about that guy who just got shot in MP? Will we be seeing coverage by the national press? Of course not. He can't be used for anyone's gain. Have a conversation about race, but don't say anything. If you want to call me a racist, fine, but I think what people are talking about is bigotry, get it right, andI think racism is when kids are killing each other and our leaders don't care, if they can't make political hay out of it.

there have been many rapes by white men recently...do you see their pics ???...why ???....this is not a racist statement.....why pic and chose what

rapists are going to be shown....heard on TV last nite....caucausian teens raped a young girl.....she ended up committing suicide...

my point is if you do it for one race....do it for all.....and that's not being racist...

say what you want....you all think you have all the intellect.....well, NOT..

Um, the President of the United States started this whole line of discussion, when he injected himself very personally to a select instance of violent death of a black teenager in this country. It is not about who commits rape in this country, the title refers to the President's statement regarding the Trayvon Martin shooting. If you read the article accompanying the pictures, you see that there are black "leaders" trying to make this case a racial issue. I've already stated my take on the issue, you don't grasp what I'm saying so you try to insult my intelligence, I did not insult yours.
You know, I live here in Schenectady, I move about fairly freely, I'm always having outsiders tell me that they are afraid to venture into Schenectady, they ask me how I can live here, sometimes they even mock me for doing so. When they tell me that they are afraid of "drugs" or"crime", those are actually codewords, because drugs do not magically jump up and bite you on the butt when you enter the city limits. You have to seek them out, and plenty of people do, I'm sure I mentioned this on another thread, lots of people drop in, take care of their dirty business, and then leave again, but people condemn Schenectady, especially the residents of Hamilton Hill, rather than the white suburbanites who support the whole thing financially. So if you areone of the people ranting about how unsafe it is in Schenectady, I think that explains a lot about who has racist attitudes or not. I hope I didn't sound too "intellectual" for you.
It bothers me, I'm the one with the helicopters flying over my house, another gutshot young man, who cares, don't mention it, that's just Schenectady, we can't use it to benefit Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson or Barack Obama, so don't mention it. THAT is racism.

It's amusing to watch racists at work.  They deny their racism, then prove their bigotry with their words.
Racism in some is so ingrained that I doubt they even recognize it in themselves or anyone else.

And you point it out with YOUR words, because you have some special powers to discern what is in people's minds. BTW, racism is a system. Bigotry, bias, racial prejudice yeah, those are my words, that's what I'm guessing you are talking about when you say racism. How is my use of the English language to express my thoughts any different from yours? So ingrained, I can't recognize it, it is a good thing we have mind readers like you to keep on this. Guess what? I am not DENYING ANYTHING, because you have not provided any evidence that I support a SYSYEM of favoring one race over another, and if you are accusing me of bigotry, bias, whatever, that is not what a RACIST is, get it right, also, you don't know how I feel about people based on their race or ethnicity, and ALSO, this is America, people are free to THINK or FEEL anything they want, not just the President or Al Sharpton. In places like Cuba, it is illegal to even THINK in a way not approved by the government, it isn't that way here yet, if I wanted to dislike someone or avoid someone I could do so for any reason at all! Hate is an emotion. Good luck stamping that out.
I see that our leader has succeeded in dividing people with his RACISM smokescreen. How much has he done for the inner cities, to alleviate the people's suffering? How many bankers who defrauded the American people, costing us BILLIONS, has his justice department prosecuted? I think if I were holder or Obama I would want to have people fighting over "racism" too, to distract from my horrible failures.

Madam X.  My words weren't directed at you but at the thread in general.  You do seem
a bit sensitive on this subject though!

Strange post from you Cicero.  You seem to prefer insults to debate on this issue.

bigot:
a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

~You know my feelings about General Smedley Butler... I have very opposing views on the military.

~ I tolerate many varied views on Religion (as long as it's not Govt Sponsored Religion) or
"forced" religion.

~I do understand the NRA member position.   I was at one time a NRA member (I didn't leave
the NRA, It Left ME!)

~ I support a person's right to CHOICE... to have that choice to have or NOT TO HAVE an
abortion.

~I was once interested in Henry's "libertarian" views, even though I disagree with them.

~ I've even supported the return of the Republican Party to it's actual roots.  I miss the
old "fiscal conservative" and the "responsible social program" Republicans... and can't
wait for their return.

So "utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion"?
I think I tolerate a wide cross section of views.

You seem a bit sensitive, if you ask me, Box. Yes, I was offended when our President exploited a tragedy and bashed people for devious, Chicago-style political reasons, and I am offended when white people appoint themselves of Arbiter of Who Is Racist.
I think GB has spoken out forcefully time and again against actions by Schenectady government and beneficiaries of government largesse in general, which has a disproportionate impact on places like Hamilton Hill, which I see, because I go there. So if GB has personal feelings that other people may notcare for, and I am not saying that he does, he does NOT support a system that is doing HARM to poor black people in greater numbers than white people. So if GB is a racist, maybe we need more racists involved in Schenectady government. It could not be worse than what we have now.

intelligent words and discussion is needed.....not sermons and labelling.....neutral.....but that is hard to observe on this discussion.

Being SAFE is not being racist.....all your talk ....raised with all kinds of ethnic groups in the city.....and never any trouble like this...

back when

Schenectady was SAFE....

you saw something ...you reported it...no one was at risk of retaliation.....now, report....and there is retaliation...that's because the

city and surrounding areas have become infested with scum of all races.....

so if you feel safe in the City....good for you.....no neightborhood is safe anymore and that's the truth....from the

horse's mouth of those who are in the know....the government are the ones that are causing this....not cleaning up the city or parks..

no matter what the ethnic race is...live in the real world....and the blase' attitude with the daily sermons ...whatever floats your boat.

Patches, I don't think I was talking about safety, in fact, I know I wasn't. I don't know what you are talking about. Neither do you, apparently. Box, you don't have a case, nobody appointed you Special Prosecutor for Suspected Cases of Racist Thought.

I merely made an observation.  My post wasn't aimed at you, but you seemed to take it that way.
I wonder why???

Of course Graham's post is racist!   Just like many of his posts.

How is posting a story of 20 men raping a girl is racist? If the men were white would you also call the thread racist.
