Excuse me, but it is a WELL KNOWN FACT.....got that?   A FACT, that very very long time TAXPAYING businesses downtown have SPECIFICALLY STATED, in announcements about their closings, that they wanted to stay in business but that the city/co/plex did NOTHING for them, they merely had to pay their own taxes PLUS the taxes of the dems political cronies.


Now, DV, would you care to tell us, the taxpayers have been forced into funding downtown AND paying the property & school taxes for the millionaires down there.  

Tell us what the taxpayers have gotten in return for that "investment."   Tell us DV, can you?   Provide us with details, with EVIDENCE, on the impact on the tax base, the property values, home sales, home sale prices, and taxes.     WATCH FELLOW BOARD MEMBERS -----  DV ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT PROVIDE AN ANSWER TO THIS REQUEST!!!!!!!!!   1,000% GUARANTEE.   He might spew babbble but he will NOT directly answer WITH EVIDENCE, the impact on those things listed.

While we are on the subject of allegations, in downtown Schenectady we have seen example after example where the city helps one business and not another, it is an ongoing issue, nobody has to allege anything, it is real.

What has happened recently under the democrats surpasses anything the republicans ever did over even thought of, in levels of horribleness, stupidity, malfeasance, nonfeasance, you name it. I think one of the reason the dems are worse is because they get to label anybody who opposes them as racist, bigoted, anti-progress, etc. That's what bothers me, I think. They exploit some truly vulnerable people who pin a lot of hopes on what they say versus what they do.

Galesi keeps pulling the strings on the DEM Council members. The Mayor's strings are so tangled, he's hanging himself with every crooked 'grant' he hands over to Galesi.

Too bad Galesi doesn't have a lob job for McCheesy...he might want to make some politically better connected friends to continue to collect a salary and simultaneous pension before a State investigation might expose some wrong-doings....
