When I was a member I was only interested in a place to shoot and sight in my rifles. I was not at all interested in joining a GunHugger hate fest, but I was exposed to their rhetoeric occasionlly at the range. Ni**er was commonplace. Hate of govt at every level was the norm... and this was long before the TeaBaggers made hate and bigotry popular.
If those GunHuggers wanted to shoot each other up at the range, I wasn't about to try to stop them. I often worked off shifts then and (often) had the mornings to myself. Occasionally there would be a few other shooters there in the morning, some reasonable people, others classic Dumb@@ss GunHuggers. I probably attended 3 or 4 meetings over the years, and every one was the same. Macho dip$hits attempting to impress the rest of the group with their 'hate speech". Meetings often ending in a drunken good ole boy hate fest. It was entertaining, to watch, but the thought of these @ssholes armed and full of hate shopping in a mall with my family around was not something I'd tollerate. The thought of my wife and kids or my grandkids around these armed cowards is anything but reassuring. If you live among GunHuggers Henry, you may see their behavior as "normal"... Just as "normal" as your bunker full of assault weapons, ammo and RPG's. Most of America sees this behavior as dangerous to society in general and a threat to their family in particular.
The 'open carry' GunHuggers pushing their assault weapons in your face as you eat your breakfast, or as your son or daughter pick out a new pair of soccer cleats may be "reassuring" to the paranoid. To the vast majority of America, a GunHugger pushing his assault weapon in their face is an unwarrented and unnecessary threat to themselves and their family.
Outside of your little band of Militia "play patriots", this behavior is bizzare!
So what club/range are you apart of box, maybe you should tell us so we can stay away from this racist beer drinking Klan gathering.
"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."
So how about it box what range did you attend where all these KKK members were and beer drinking and racism was allowed?

Stay away??? You'd fit right in. Why would you want to shun your fellow GunHuggers who have such like interests?

So what club were you apart of if you think I would fit right in? Why are you afraid to answer the question?

No thanks Henry. I'll pass. I have no interest in waving a pork chop in front of a pack of rabid dogs!

So you are afraid to give a answer, I figured you would love nothing better then to tell the world about this so called racist unsafe gun range. But hey your dodging around the question says it all, which is basically you are full of sh1t and was never a member of such a range.

Box lives up where he's the only liberal for miles around if he names the shooting range he'd have to move out of the county.
Nah he's not a member of any club/range, his whole story was nothing but bs thus his long useless rant which dodged around the question.

I wonder how Henry is going to explain it to this guy's wife that she may never walk again because her lame @ss GunHugger husband... was keeping her SAFE!!!
the same way a gun hugging government tells soldiers why going to other countries and killing those folks there is keeping them safe......
p.s. they still have to explain it to his/her family too

Hey Henry, you can believe me or not... it's all the same to me. I have nothing to prove. I am smart enough to avoid an unnecessary confrontation with a bunch of red neck GunHuggers with assault weapons and a huge TeaBag chip on their shoulder. Dealing with the armed mentally ill is seldom a good idea.

Henry is right about one thing... I'm not a member of a club/range, and haven't been for years... But I was a member as I posted above.

Sure box whatever you say, you are on a message board using an alias so what are you afraid of, its not like anyone here knows who you are. Better yet just give us the city of this so called gun range if you don't want to give the name.

Even better, so what are you worried about?

but you volunteer to go shoot other humans that you are TOLD to believe are enemies and criminals, in other countries?
you are right, you have nothing to prove because you have already proved that you are a human too and did not avoid unnecessary confrontation, which makes you a 'redneck' too.
as for mentally ill, most of the brain scrubbing in the military does result in such diagnosis......
