LMAO and you don't think anyone would be scratched at a cat show or pricked at a sewing show? Damn cats are a danger to all of us

Looks like the cat just defending himself!

That cat has no right to defend itself, the cat doesn't have a badge.  All cats should be de-clawed...They are very dangerous animals.

I agree... the little brat got a taste of what he was dishing out, and he didn't like it.

JAMA Internal Medicine

The map is not without exceptions and outliers, but the general trend is clear:
States with more gun regulations had lower rates of gun deaths,
and
states with less gun laws had higher gun death rates,
both in terms of suicide and homicide.

That's certainly not the message we get from the National Rifle Association.

"states with less gun laws had higher gun death rates,
both in terms of suicide and homicide."

That is NOT clear from the article and charts..
The article even states "Direct causation could not be determined"
I want to see a true graphical breakout between suicide and Homicide.

My point is there is a reason that anti-gun proponents always mix suicides and homicides when presenting their cases....it makes the graphs look more scary.
The truth is suicides account for more than 50% of total gun deaths in the US annually. But it is always a homicide or multiple homicide that gets the public attention and support for tougher gun laws.
What are the anti-gun people afraid of? If it is actually true that tougher gun laws have a positive effect on reducing non-suicidal gun deaths, which is the real public concern, they should have no problem separating the data out and presenting it.

They are not pushing for toughening the existing laws, the anti-gun side is..

when you want something changed, you have the burden of stating your case. glad you agree..

If you want the true amount of firearm murders by state, look here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_violence_in_the_United_States_by_state

The entire chart is sortable by several factors.... there is NO direct correlation between the percentage of the state population that has guns and the rate of murders by guns.

Your chart shows no direct correlation... between gun owners and murder by guns. (AND???)
My chart shows a direct relation between 'gun laws' and deaths by guns.
