Does she not have armed guards when traveling to countries with "common sense" gun laws?

In a ruling guaranteed to make the NRA spontaneously combust, the United States
Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday that THERE IS NO GUARANTEED
CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO CARRY CONCEALED WEAPONS.
By a vote of 7-4, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco upheld a California
law that requires gun owners to show a good reason before they can get a license to
carry a concealed handgun.
"The protection of the Second Amendment — whatever the scope of that protection
may be — simply does not extend to the carrying of concealed firearms in public by
members of the general public."

These innocents are killed by person(s) operating the weapon, whether be a ar-15, a handgun, a pressure cooker bomb, or a bomb made by items obtainable at an Agway.

Yes Tbird.  The choice of weapons makes no difference at all:

Americans are not going to fall for that no more, they haven't in awhile box. Its clear that taking away more rights to defend oneself is not the answer and never was. Even in our liberal leaning state only 2-3% of gun owners registered their weapons under the safe act. 98% of the gun owners in this state are not gunhuggers box, the overwhelming majority just understood their rights and protection is more important then feel good laws which make them less safe. The more acts of violence like this the more people are seeing the true roots of the problem, and it isn't our 2nd amendment.

I stand behind you in line at the store with a smile on my face...and a gun under my shirt and you are none the wiser, yet you are safer for having me next to you. I won't shoot you. My gun won't pull it's own trigger. It is securely holstered with the trigger covered. It can't just go off. However, rest assured that if a lunatic walks into the grocery store and pulls out a rifle, I will draw my pistol and protect myself and my family and therefore protect you and your family. I may get shot before I can pull the trigger...but, I won't die in a helpless blubbering heap on the floor begging for my life or my child's life. No, if I die it will be in a pile of spent shell casings. I won't be that victim. I choose not to be. As for you, I don't ask you to carry a gun. If you are not comfortable, then please don't. But I would like to keep my right to choose to not be a helpless victim. There is evil in the world and if evil has a gun, I want one too...

OMG!
Bumbler has no idea of the FACTS on GUNS in the USA.

~~~  More Guns, More Death  ~~~
Using survey data on rates of household gun ownership, we examined the association between gun availability and homicide across states, 2001-2003. We found that states with higher levels of household gun ownership had higher rates of firearm homicide and overall homicide.  This relationship held for both genders and all age groups, after accounting for rates of aggravated assault, robbery, unemployment, urbanization, alcohol consumption, and resource deprivation (e.g., poverty). There was no association between gun prevalence and non-firearm homicide.
That study is pretty archaic considering its age, the changes in gun laws per state, and huge increase in gun ownership since 2003....
The numbers change little in this 2013 study.
Places with higher gun ownership rates also have higher firearms-related
deaths, a new study finds.
In the study, published today (Sept. 20) in the American Journal of Medicine
, researchers analyzed gun ownership rates, crime rates and deaths from firearms
across 27 developed countries around the world.
"The U.S. has the highest gun ownership rates and also has the highest rate of firearm-related deaths,"
