The "revised" second amendment.

Quoted Text
Former Supreme Court justice John Paul Stevens, in an April, 2014 WaPo Op-Ed, proposed the
addition of five words to the Second Amendment, clarifying what Stevens believes the original
writers meant. Stevens' revised Second Amendment would read like this:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of
the people to keep and bear Arms when serving in the Militia shall not be infringed."

Is that what they meant? I believe they wrote the original words after fighting as inhabitants of the colonies not as a government militia, and chose these words carefully to say that they didn't want to see another oppressive government take control of their lives again. Just like the three party system was supposed to be a check and balance of the government the balance of power over the people shall not be tipped fully in the governments favor.

This is unless you want the 1st, 4th and the rest of the amendments changed to benefit the government and the officials/people in positions of power.

Yes... for the purpose of a "well regulated militia", " the right of the people to keep and bear
Arms, shall not be infringed.

At least that's how Supreme Court justice John Paul Stevens saw it.

The Vermont-New York Guns Carousel

So... Federal Gun Laws where all states have the same background check and the same
restrictions on gun sales would end this cycle... but there is a lot of money to be made by
keeping things just the way they are.

New laws will merely create new criminals.

You don't seem to fully understand that a person's civil rights are not given by the government, people are born with natural rights.

Trying to take or modify people's rights will merely create an entire new breed of anti-government people who will continue their lives, but will be labeled criminals.

Attempting to use force to restrict, regulate, modify or eliminate people's rights will cause an equal and opposite reaction.

So when the gun grabbers get shot by a sniper while pumping gas, consider that your antics may have been the cause.

You are advocating the most dangerous actions ever committed against free people; taking their self evident rights away from them, through legislation and the use of force.

Your extremist viewpoint isn't new, it was also used against the Native Americans during their genocide.

You are willing to kill Americans to force them to surrender their rights to legislators.

Despicable, to say the least.

Come to think of it, you always defend the taking American's lives and rights, and dream of someday incarcerating or killing everyone who even thinks about freedom.

You want our corrupt government to decide who is qualified to have rights and who is to be denied rights.

You are so far past being a defender of heavy handed Socialism, that you have become a full blown Communist.

You actually believe that people are stupid enough to trust the most corrupt and homicidally powered terrorist organization on Earth.

Drones are terrorism.

Fu-ck your wet dream gun grabbing laws.

Fu-ck your anti-freedom attitude.

Fu-ck your support of homicidal maniacs.

You dream of the US becoming a modern version of the 1959 Soviet Union.

You are an extremist who supports homicide, destruction, violence, and taking people's rights with the use of force.

You are a dangerous Communist American extremist.

So you again, support taking right's, this time away from the states.

Yep that fits right into your anti American, Anti-freedom agenda.

The federal government must be in total control of all people's lives.

What an incredible and deranged desire.

CONSERVATIVE Ed Berliner on GunHuggers
Quoted Text

“Time also to put to bed this Second Amendment absolute right,” he said. “Make it a privilege, not an absolute right of DNA passage.
Force gun owners to undergo intrusive background checks including mental health exams. Take required gun safety courses. Renew
them every year.”

He added that adults should be held criminally responsible for failing to lock up weapons and keep them away from children.

What Obama Will Do After His Photo-Op with Mourning Oregon Families is Being Called a ‘Disgrace’
The President is coming to “politicize” a tragedy.

Local residents near Umpqua Community College, where nine Americans lost their lives, aren’t exactly thrilled.

Thousands are expected to protest the President, and one of the punchiest responses so far has been a two-word line by a protester at Roseburg Regional Airport captured by reporter Lee Stranahan and posted on Instagram:

“Go golf.”

The barbed line is a jab at the President for an especially controversial affair where the President gave a speech on American James Foley being beheaded by the terrorist group ISIS, and right after, Obama hit the golf links.

It also turns out President Obama will be fundraising on this trip.
