Remember the Republican Jobs Bill???
NO?
Neither do I!

Obama Offers to Cut Corporate Tax Rate as Part of Jobs Deal
WASHINGTON — President Obama, in a bid to break a stalemate with the Republican-controlled
House, will revive on Tuesday his proposal to cut corporate tax rates in return for a commitment
from Republicans to invest more in programs spurring middle-class jobs.

He promised Obamacare as the main campaign issue... and he delivered... inspite of
GOP obstructionism.

Yes he did, but he told too many lies to count to get it passed. People are now finding out what's in the law and they don't like it, but it's too late to do anything about it.

He didn't promise Obamacare. He promised health care reform. I was against Obamacare when it was Romneycare. I've always been in favor of health care reform, and I'm still waiting.

Obama promised the most transparent government --- and he delivered -- it is crystal clear that Obama administration and the Democratic Caucus in Congress is the most incompetent and corrupt bunch to ever hold elective office in U.S. History.

Yes.  Obamacare as it was originally proposed had a single payer option... the GOP shut it down so
what we have today is what is LEFT of Obamacare after it's revisal.

There are a few states that offer a single payer plan... Vermont is one and so far it's working out
quite well.  Hopefully it can be incorporated into Obamacare at a later date.

Isn't the single payer system the same one that's failed in the UK?

The UK has a very good health care system.  The only place you will hear that they don't is on
Right Wing Blogs.

Thew Brits have an 80% satisfaction rate with their health care system.  The USA, even before
Obamacare was never past 50%.

The Righties have been spewing their lies for so long... they even believe the lies themselves.

Try reading the cancer survival figures in the UK before you start singing their praises.

Obamacare is that monstrosity copied from Romney, and rammed through by Pelosi and co. who didn't even know what they were pushing. It was the lazy man's way of saying, "See, I kept my promise", when he did no such thing. It isn't reform at all, and it isn't on the Republicans.

This jobs stuff is the same thing. Most of the Republicans don't care about jobs, and neither does Obama. He's a corporatist as well. He'll throw some lame-o jobs stuff out there from time to time, the Republicans will shoot it down, and he will go on to something else because he can conveniently blamehis failures on the other party. He's not going to be an effective president, because that is too much like work, and he doesn't care anyway.
This president's "sequester" nonsense shows just want kind of jerk he is.
I'm no right winger, not at all. This guy is just a bad president, not up to the job at all, conceited, and phony. Some people had very high hopes for himto bring some desperately needed change to their lives, he let them down really bad.

Socialized health care has been in the makings for decades upon decades!!! This was the long term goal from the dems/reps collectively!!! The reps who say there are against it....is nothing more than smoke and mirrors!!! Both sides are just sparring over who will be in control of the money pit aka taxpayer's money. Each side has their 'corporate friends and family club'.....same corruption...they will just look different.
