A military court has found Pfc. Bradley Manning, accused of the largest leak of classified
information in U.S. history, not guilty of aiding the enemy -- a charge that would have carried
a maximum sentence of life in prison. The military court convicted him of multiple counts of
violating the Espionage Act, with the judge accepting some of the guilty pleas he made previously
to lesser charges.

The Guardian reported that Manning was found guilty on five counts of theft and five counts of
espionage, and that he potentially faces up to 130 years in jail.

Oh.

You wanted a comment  other than your own.

Ok, my position is the same. He should be put in front of a wall and shot. I disagree that he was found 'not guilty' of aiding the enemy.

But he was found guilty and pled guilty to a multitude of other charges, either way it works out I guess.

While I would have preferred death as an example, his life is effectively over and will probably have wished death in the end. He is going to a military prison. He will garner no favor from guard or inmate for what he has done.

I consider Snowden a hero and patriot because of what he did and why he did it.

I consider Manning a traitor because of what he did and why he did it.

What are you running for office?  You're speaking political double speak.

Do you hold those same polar opposite opinions about Paul Revere that exposed the secrets that the British were coming?

The slaughtering of innocent people in a far away land in wars waged on lies deserves the same public exposure as the government listening to phone calls.  If Americans want to wave their flags supporting these wars as children are slaughtered in their name.  Then they ought to sit and watch the wiki leak video with pride.  Own the death of those children shot up by the 30 mm machine guns.
