If you leave all washer doors open when not in use, the air will evaporate any water in the drum... PREVENTING
mold and mildew.  

Top load non-high efficiency washers new or old, you should leave door up after using to prevent all those issues....

We've always left the door open, we only use top loaders. This is our 3rd machine, other two went about 31 -32 years combined, both Whirlpool agitators. Don't know, but I have two major issues, not enough water and the he detergent.  Supposedly these machines clean the
clothes a different way using less water, I don't get it and there's definitely something going on with that he detergent and the amounts you're supposed to use. We're down to about a tablespoon or so for a load of clothes, otherwise we get detergent stink in the clothes. Always need to
use extra rinse cycle. I will be dumping this thing for an old school type machine and soon.

     Back on topic the 750 homes now being foreclosed by the DEMS are the tip of the iceburg. Another foreclosure in the GE Plot. Have you been to the Stockade lately? Looks
like Morris pulled out just in time. Four on Front Street alone. Nowhere to hide in tax crazed Schenectady County. Ruined since 1975!

Morris, the Patroon that moved out to enjoy lower taxes. Seriously, the Stockade is a run-down, crummy neighborhood. The residents fought very hard to keep it nice, but the city fought harder to let it go to hell.

I have a clothesline in my attic. I don't have a good place for one in my yard, and leaving clothes outside too long can be problematic for those with allergies. Also you have the rain problem. Clothes dried in the attic with the windows open smell fresher than those dried in the drier, and you can just leave them up there until you are good and ready to retrieve them. It saves some energy, but more important to me, it keeps a lot of clothes nicer. Anything with elastic in it holds up better if you hang it up to dry. You can always tumble towels or jeans on air or low heat for a few minutes to remove lint or stiffness. I still have the drier for times when it is too much trouble to go hang things up or I need them in a hurry.

Yes, he fled the city, he fled he TERRIBLE life LIVING IN the city.

But he does still have to pay taxes on the house he owns in the Stockade.   Or is he on the delinquent list?  


It's well known that he has mortage that place to the nth degree and that Mary Mary can't sell it for the amount he owes on it.

Wonder how many offers he's had on it.

You can't trust what you see in the media, even the national news has been lying about the real estate market nationwide. You can't trust the realtors, because the reaped windfall profits during the phony "bubble" era, and would like that to continue, and you can't trust what the city puts out there in the paper most of all. Newspapers make money from realtors' advertising, they don't like to print anything that will offend their customers.
