According to authorities, around 11:15 the Keybank on Eastern Parkway in Schenectady was robbed. Police say a light skinned black female in her late teens or early 20s gave the teller a note demanding money. Although no weapons were shown, the note implied there was a weapon. The woman fled on the back of a silver BMX bicycle with a black male. The suspects were headed East on Eatern Parkway. It is unknown how much cash was taken and there were no injuries. The woman was about 5’-5’3’’ tall, wore a blue NY Yankees ball cap with a flat brim, a blue and white shirt and capri pants. The man was seen wearing a white shirt and jeans. If you have any information you are encouraged to contact the Schenectady Police Department.

Million dollar security network foiled by a couple of nitwits on a bicycle with a note.

It's so easy a nine year old can do it.

Police: Young boy smashed bank door with bicycle

Published: July 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 12 (UPI) -- Police in Michigan said a young boy was being
held for allegedly using his bicycle to shatter a window at a bank and take cash early
Friday.

Southfield police said the boy, who initially gave his age as 8 but gave police a birth
date that would make him 9, rode his bike to the Bank of America in Southfield around
3 a.m. Friday, and the bank's security company called police when cameras recorded
him walking around the bank, WDIV-TV, Detroit, reported.

Police said the video cameras depicted the boy using his bicycle to shatter the front door
and enter the bank, where he allegedly took some rolled coins and cash from a teller's
drawer.

The boy's mother went to the Southfield Police Department, but officers refused to release
the boy into her custody. She declined to comment to WDIV-TV.

This story is incredible. The front door of the bank isn't 9 year old child proof.

They'll be caught, most of these bank robberies are either addicts or unsophisticated criminals who put little thought into the robbery.  High risk, minimal short term reward.

Wouldn't be wise if they gave out a picture or video of the robbery if they wanted help catching them. That makes me assume they already know who they're and are looking for them at the moment.
