I think drug users and dealers didn't care about bystanders long, long, long, long, long before I stated my opinion.

If sleeping in tents in 105 degree temps is good enough for the soldiers in Iraq then it's good enough for those who violate our laws.

Approximately 10,000 people are wrongfully imprissioned every year.  

If you want prison to resemble war conditions, then you should expect released prisioners to function in society as a person that has been through war - emotional problems, violent, and homeless.

A strangers suffering won't make your fear go away.

I don't think that it is inhumane to expect prisoners to pay for their meals.  The FACT is that they are only charged $1.25 cents a day for their meals.

The inmates don't live in the tents all the time.  They take turns between the tents and being inside.

Joe is lucky he is not in prison himself.

Treating people badly is not honorable.
