So news has been reporting that mortgage rates are on the rise.   Not going to help the mayor's real estate business.


However, look, recent home sales in the city reported in the newspaper

601 Bedford Rd, purchased for $75,000.   City claims it would sell for $89,630   Purchased in 2005 for $94,000.   Listed in July 2012, took 10 months to sell and UNDER THE DEM LEADERSHIP, look at the drop in it's value since previous purchase.   Oh, sellers lost BIG MONEY!!!

2902 Gibson St, purchased for $101,500.   City claims it would sell for $123,333  Took 7 months to sell!

1155 Coplon Ave, purchased for $113,500.   City clams it would sell for $136,852.    It had been listed since April 2011!  It was taken off the market for a little while.

801 Bridge St, purchased for $85,000.   City claims it would sell for $213,519   !!!!!!  

1537 Kingston Ave, purchased for $90,500.  City claims it would sell for $149,630.   Purchased in 2007 for $170,000.  Listed for sale April 2010 (had been removed for a time in 2011),  UNDER THE CITY DEM LEADERSHIP, look how much the 2013 purchase price dropped from 2007 !!!!!!!!    WHOO WHOO, THE CITY IS A RENAISSANCE, THE CITY IS IMPROVING -- SO SAYS DVOR!


409 Shannon St purchased for $69,500   City claims it would sell for $105,463

2176 Avenue B purchased for $103,000.   City claims it would sell for $130,741  Had sold in 1989 (YES 1989, over 20 years ago) for $116,000.   Valued by the city for $141,200 in 2008.   UNDER THE DEM LEADERSHIP the LOOK!   LOOK how the house is worth less than the previous purchase!!!  YIKES

1356 Waverly Pl purchased for $140,000.   City claims it would sell for $161,481

39 Front St purchased for $142,00.   City claims it would sell for $177,407






Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.  
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
