freedom 1. the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint: He won his freedom after a retrial. 2. exemption from external control, interference, regulation, etc. 3. the power to determine action without restraint. 4. political or national independence. 5. personal liberty, as opposed to bondage or slavery
Also: ~ the quality or state of being free, esp to enjoy political and civil liberties ~ autonomy, self-government, or independence
And in Cicero's case, The freedom to vote for your representative government, and the freedom to leave this country if it doesn't suit you.
Ahhh.. Free to vote for the people that run systems. If you don't like the systems the government forces you to live under, LEAVE! What-a-patriot box is. Ok, summary: The individual isn't free, he is only free to choose the masters that dictate the external controls, interference, and regulations. Your freedom is your freedom to cast 1 vote in a sea of millions. Every 2 years you can enjoy your freedom during those few minutes in the voting booth. |

YUP! Cicero, that's the way our founding fathers designed it. There are many options in the world, not just the USA. You could try a Religious theocracy, a communist system, a chaos system (you might like that one), and several forms of democracy. Buy and island and start your own govt. Then the only thing you could complain about is yourself! My guess... Cicero is a complainer. He thrives on complaints not solving problems or helping people. |

We live in a fascist democracy. First step of solving problems is informing the citizens they are not free. Second part of the solution is not to vote, your vote is consenting to your enslavement. You continue to list systems of enslavement. I can live under religious, communist, or corporate/fascist(united states) enslavement. Thanks for the choices box. This is coming from a guy ordered to fight and kill the NVC to protect the South Vietnamese. You should have told the South Vietnames to leave if they didn't want to live under communism. Ho Chi Mihn was Vietnam's Abe Lincoln. How dare you interfere with the unification of Vietnam. The Vietnamese are peacefully living under the government that eventually enslaved them. Millions wiped off the earth by governments. |

We all need to be lazier, just ask the Pioneers. |

So it appears that Bumbler and Senders are AGAINST SOCIAL SECURITY. They prefer that America's elderly starve, as they often did before SS. |

Yes, of course that's the false choice given. If people can't save for themselves to pay for life necessities later in life, there is a problem with the economy to begin with. |

So people like Cicero save their entire life... they invest, they save, they plan... and then one day on the way to work they get in a life changing accident and are left quadra-pelagic. Since they aren't forced to have health insurance... their savings are gone in a matter of months and THE REST OF US PAY THEIR MEDICAL BILLS. They have no SS, no Disability, no nuttin'. So the REST OF US PAY THEIR BILLS. Or... Universal health care and SS. |

If there wasn't billion if money funneled into the medical industry the prices would drop. When you force 100% to dump billions into medicine to pay for 50% to use in, the medical industry prices there services based on the supply of money not the number of customers. Whether it auto insurance or health insurance, both have driven the price of service up to the point that 99% of the people cannot afford it without insurance. You take that money out and repairing your bumper from an accident goes from $1000 to $500. The extra money in the system from the safe drivers wouldn't be there. |
