Albany police investigating homicide of 1-month-old baby

ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany police say they are actively investigating the death of a one-month-old baby as a homicide.

On Thursday, June 13th, around 9:00 a.m., Albany police responded to Albany Medical Center Hospital for report of a child with injuries. Upon arrival, hospital staff told detectives that the child, a 4-week-old from Kingston, had sustained a severe head injury.

The child died Monday afternoon at the hospital as result of his injuries.

At this time the death being treated as a homicide.
