The so called first tier republicans cannot win without Rand/Ron Paul support.
Rand Paul is in the top tier, Chris Christie, Scott Walker give me a break, who buys that BS. They were saying Trump and Herman Cain were top tier and we see how that worked out.

Yea. Trump, Cain, Paul... all fringe candidates who stood on stage with actual candidates in a show of narcissistic self aggrandisement. Their support added together wouldn't amount to 1% of the vote.

Hell even RedState website is backing Rand and those are some neo-con SOB's

Geesh box seems pretty quick to go after someone who is "fringe"

These are desperate times for the GOP. The only 'good' republican candidates who might have a chance of winning the popular vote in '16, can't win a Republican Primary run by old liners and TeaBaggers.
The GOP is screwed.

I remember when I first started posting here... the RP Groupies kept on campaigning for Paul... Telling me he has huge support among the GOP and independants and with many Democrats.
I was doubtful then... but listened. Today a Paul Presidency is laughable.

They don't NEED Rand/Ron Paul... who are the Paul Groupies going to vote for in '16??? Hillary??? No of course they aren't. They will either vote for the GOP nominee or not vote at all.
You answered your own question. They WON'T VOTE AT ALL. If they didn't come out for the sky is falling, end of the world election to vote for Romney over Obama. What makes you think they will come out for the same sky is falling, end of the world election for a different establishment puppet?
Paul is rewriting history here. We don’t see anywhere in these interviews “an extended conversation about the ramifications beyond race,” at least in the way that Paul describes it at Howard University. Indeed, Paul claims he “never wavered” on the Civil Right Act but in the MSNBC interview he mused openly about possibly wanting to change one provision if he had been a senator. Ironically, the issue that troubled Paul was what Senate Republicans at the time had modified in order to deal with the very concerns that Paul raises almost five decades later. We were tempted to give this Four Pinocchios but some of his language at Howard appears to be a product of fuzzy thinking. Still, Paul does earn Three Pinocchios for trying to recast and essentially erase what he said in 2010. It would be better to own up to his mistake — if he now thinks it was one — rather than sugarcoat it.

Some readers might argue that Paul was simply making a rhetorical point. (Indeed, the American Spectator thought this column was unfair.) But even rhetorical points need to be rooted in reality. Paul has an obligation to acknowledge that he was proposing at best symbolic cuts that would have virtually no impact on the budget, especially when he claimed that $4 trillions in reductions are necessary. Otherwise, in a high-profile speech, he simply perpetuated damaging myths that continue to mislead the American public.

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul on Wednesday worried the defeat of the Defense of Marriage Act could lead to the legalization of human-animal marriages.
Rand Paul suckin up to Glenn Beck... Beastiality!

Rand Paul knows that America thinks that his dad is nuts... Rand Paul knows Ron Paul's politics will make him unelectable... So Rand is morphing into a LINO version of his dad! It's called "pandering to the base".

Rand Paul and Ron Paul are irrelevant. Wonder why they are even wasting time on writing this article?
It's like watching a train wreck... it's awful, but ya just can't make yourself look away.
