Looks as if the blackout of Rand might start pretty early, the write in spot is winning by the way

I wouldn't count Rand Paul out so early, and personally I believe he has a better shot at the White House than his father did in the past.

Looking at the list of GOP potential candidates on that straw poll, I would say that some are very long shots.  My guess is that at least one of the viable contenders will be a successful Governor from a key swing state -- mmm.. like Wisconsin or Ohio or Indiana.  Or better yet a Governor who is not on that straw poll -- one from a state with a very strong economy and low taxes like Texas.

The REAL Rand Paul Can't Be Trusted!

Quoted Text
Paul uses delays as a public-relations tool: His drone filibuster effectively turned Senate
rules into a 13-hour presidential campaign ad. “Procedurally, the way he operates is
hostage-taking,” says a Republican Senate staffer. “What Paul has done is basically say,
‘If I don’t get my way, nobody is going to get anything. (Typical GOP Obstructionism)
I’m going to hold up everything until I get my way.’”
Often, this means forcing a vote on one of his amendments, like a proposal to end foreign aid
“to countries that burn our flag,” such as Egypt, Libya, and Pakistan. When this happens, “all
his colleagues leave the floor cursing his name,” says the Republican staffer. “This isn’t the way
you do business here.” Other senators, including Maine’s Susan Collins, were furious at Paul after
PACs associated with him attacked their positions on gun control. These ads, says the Democratic
staffer, are “a cardinal sin.”

Ron is happy preaching the libertarian gospel; Rand wants results.
Because none of Paul’s measures ever pass, it is easy to dismiss him as a grandstander.
“He’s essentially a non-entity as a legislator.”

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Everyone knows Rand Paul will run and that is why they're already going after him, polls show he is in the lead out of the GOP potential candidates, now why wouldn't they put his name into the poll. Again write ins were winning and I'm guessing that was the peoples way of saying they want Rand Paul.

The U.S. Senate was purposely designed to slow the legislative process down.  I don't give a rats a** if some wimpy fence-sitting G.O.P. Senator objects to Senator Paul's tactics or if it gives Harry Reid and the rest of the left-wing nut crowds fits of apoplexy.  Senator Paul is acting fully within the rules of the U.S. Senate, and plugging up the sewer pipe of effluent (Obama and Pelosipaloser legislation) from being passed is IMHO a good thing.

The House is REPUBLICAN... as is Rand/Ron Paul.  His obstructionism holds up all legislation... Good,
Bad or Otherwise.

I don't view the lack of passing bills to be a problem.   Congress only needs to pass one bill --- a balanced budget that would cut taxes --- and then go home.  Then Congress would be doing something useful.

Bottom line here is thta neither the dems or reps are running this country and protecting the constitution.
They are BOTH nothing more than puppets for the globalists!!!!

Rand or Ron Paul would have stirred up the honet's nest at best but would accomplish little.....but it appears that the globalists have just about one!!

It doesn't take a rocket scientist here to realize that the two party system has been corrupt for decades and walking in lockstep with the globalist empire!

And again you didn't answer, why was a candidate that we know is going to run and polling higher then the rest not listed, you know why you just don't want to admit it.

Not listed where??? By some Right Wing Website???
Maybe they wanted to keep out the 'riff raff' or other non-electable candidates.  Like Daddy Paul in
previous elections... Paul's groupies claimed to have a huge following but when it comes to the actual
votes... Paul couldn't manage .05%.  Should every website be FORCED to include Alfred E Newman along
with any descendant of Ron Paul on their website polls???

The University of Virginia Center for Politics has Rand Paul, not even running first tier...

First Tier
Chris Christie
Scott Walker
Marco Rubio

Second Tier
Bobby Jindal
Rand Paul

As they see Paul:
Plus
•Tea Party favorite
•Strong support from libertarian GOP wing
•National ID and fundraising network

Minus
•Too libertarian?
•Association with out-of-mainstream father
•Too dovish/eclectic for GOP tastes?

The so called first tier republicans cannot win without Rand/Ron Paul support.

At the present time (and this changes daily) no Republican Candidate can win against Hillary.
They don't NEED Rand/Ron Paul... who are the Paul Groupies going to vote for in '16???
Hillary??? No of course they aren't.  They will either vote for the GOP nominee or not vote
at all.
