Today, President Obama issued the following letter to all Verizon customers:

Dear Verizon Customers,

Yesterday it came to light that the National Security Agency has been collecting millions of phone records from you each and every day. Since that news was released, many of you have called the White House with questions and concerns about this new program. To save my time and yours, here are answers to three of the F.A.Q.s (Frequently Asked Questions) we’ve been hearing from you:

1. Will I be charged extra for this service?

I’m happy to say that the answer is no. While the harvesting and surveillance of your domestic phone calls were not a part of your original Verizon service contract, the National Security Agency is providing this service entirely free of charge.

2. If I add a phone to my account, will those calls also be monitored?

Once again, the answer is good news. If you want to add a child or any other family member to your Verizon account, their phone calls—whom they called, when, and the duration of the call—will all be monitored by the United States government, at no additional cost.

3. Can the National Security Agency help me understand my Verizon bill?

Unfortunately, no. The National Security Agency has tried, but failed, to understand Verizon’s bills. Please call Verizon customer service and follow the series of electronic prompts.

I hope I’ve helped clear up some of the confusion about this exciting new program. But if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to call the White House. Joe Biden is standing by.

God bless America,

President Obama

Do you use a credit card much ? They not only know  your name address , phone number  probably your favorite color-  but what you do   and where you go every  single day and didn't need a judge to say it is OK.

You willfully give away cell phone information to stalkers http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Cell-Phone-Pics-Help-Criminals-111973474.html

~ Benghazi coverup??? Um... there was none!  Except on FoxSnooze.

~ Blanket Amnesty??? None!

~ Agenda 21?  (Agenda 21 is a non-binding, voluntarily implemented action plan
of the United Nations with regard to sustainable development. (and this is somehow a threat?)

~ War On Christmas???  You gotta be kidding!   Again, on FoxSnooze it does exist... otherwise,
only on Right Wing Blogs.

~ Jobless Recovery?  Are you referring to the planned Jobless Recovery that was supposed to insure
Obama was defeated in 2012?  Didn't work did it.  Obama has in 5 years created more jobs than Bushy
in 8.

~ Fast and Furious???  A failed plan... but miniscule compared to The Bush Oil War In Iraq.

~ Debt???  A huge problem for Righties when Obama is in office... a minor point with Bushy.

"TOTO, I HAVE A FEELING WE'RE NOT IN AMERICA ANY MORE..."
Yea... the Right Winger America (White, Old Men) is on it's way out.

U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko, D-Amsterdam, released the following statement today in response to
news that millions of telephone records from United States Verizon customers were collected by the
federal government under an order by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.

Quoted Text
“I voted against extending the PATRIOT Act because of the effect the law has
on our civil liberties in situations such as this. While it appears everything was done with
accordance of the law, I remain concerned that we as a nation are not striking a balance
between protecting our liberties and maintaining national security. Moving forward, it is
my hope that we can put into use the Privacy and Civil Rights Board the law created while
strengthening Congressional oversight until the PATRIOT Act expires,” said Tonko.

Kirsten Gillibrand voted YES and Chuckles Schumer didn't vote on the re-authorization of the Patriot Act in 2011.

In 2006, Chuckles and Hillary voted YES for re-authorization, and every NYS REPRESENTATIVE voted for re-authorization.

I choose to give credit card companies my information, they might track what I buy and make guesses about what I'm like, but they don't know me personally. BTW, I switched to cash a while back. I realize after having done so that the government has been trying to make cash so inconvenient we won't use it for quite some time now. Remember when they took away large denomination bills? Back when $100.00 was a lot of money, you could still getmuch larger bills. Does it make sense now, when $100.00 doesn't cover gas and groceries, that you can't have bigger bills? The switch wasn't for the reasons they said it was.
