How GOP lost young voters

CLOSED-MINDED, RACIST, RIGID, OLD-FASHIONED

The College Republican National Committee on Monday will make public a detailed report
— the result of extensive polling and focus groups — dissecting what went wrong for Republicans
with young voters in the 2012 elections and how the party can improve its showing with that key
demographic in the future.
It’s not a pretty picture. In fact, it’s a “dismal present situation,” the report says.

(Pretty much, the Republican College Report agrees with what most Democrats have been saying
for years.  TeaBagger Extremism is killing the GOP!)

The GOP pushed out the younger conservative voters because they leaned more towards Libertarianism, the GOP doesn't deserve them back the way they treated them over the last 10 years.

According to the Republican study, it wasn't "Leaning Libertarianism" that was the problem...
It was being CLOSED-MINDED, RACIST, RIGID, OLD-FASHIONED.

Certainly those 'conservative libertarians' didn't vote Democrat... if they voted at all they voted for
the GOP Ticket.

Exactly my point, they didn't want to expand the base with a newer age approach the younger generation was looking for. Younger conservative voters were pushed out because of their social beliefs on many issues like gay marriage, war on drugs, the wars themselves, along with a few other things.

"A FEW OTHER THINGS"  Like racism, choice, denying science, gutting poverty programs, eliminating
welfare, tax cuts for the wealthy at the expense of the middle class, voter suppression,
and many more.

Libertarians have been more closely aligned with Republicans on many issue.

Liberal Democrats used to be more tolerant but have moved to the extreme left.

Libertarians are faced with picking the lesser of 2 evils.

Sadly Obama was a huge mistake. He took advantage and overstepped his authority
stepping up Bush's war lord-ism and adding to Bush's homeland security's power.

Democrats are virtually identical to Republicans on military and homeland security
actions now.

Both parties have no respect for the Constitution, and consider it to be an obstacle
to be overcome.

Refusing to compromise on every single issue did get Obama elected.

But now the liberals are refusing to compromise on any issue at all and will be given
the boot.

Yeah, Rand Paul is rebranding the GOP.  Pro-peace, pro-markets, anti-Fed, Christian moderate, pro-states right, anti-police/security state, limited role of the federal government in people's lives.

I too, like Rand Paul.

God Talks To Republicans!!!  Who knew!

The Washington Post has a story on the House GOP breaking into factions after the fiscal cliff vote
and how GOD intervened to let Speaker John Boehner hold onto his job.
God Spares A Boner!
Quoted Text
"Barely 36 hours after the caustic New Year's Day vote, Boehner faced a coup attempt
from a clutch of renegade conservatives. The cabal quickly fell apart when several Republicans,
after a night of prayer, said God told them to spare the speaker.
Boehner came within a few votes of failing to secure his speakership on the initial vote, an
outcome that would have forced a second ballot for the first time in nearly a century."
