Obama's legacy will be ObamaCare. Americans will look back at these times and wonder why it took the USA decades to provide health care for all. Obama has finally done what many presidents (dem and rep) have suggested in the past. |

He will be remembered as Drone-bama and extrajudicial executioner. |

ObamaCare will be Obama's greatest legacy... but he will always be remembered as the US President who got BinLaden and ending two of GWB'S wars. |

He didn't end two wars , he increased illegal extrajudicial killings, including a US citizen. He will be remembered as an authoritarian tyrant. Which is unfortunate, he's only doing as he's told, same as prior presidents. |

No Cissy... prior presidents (GWB) attempted and failed to capture or kill BinLaden. Obama succeeded. Other presidents, both rep and dem supported Universal Health Care for all Americans, but Obama succeeded. Obama was instrumental in the process that will rid Syria of WMD's... Stops Iran's Nuke Program and ending GWB's two wars... again Obama succeeded where others failed. |

the ONLY impact the ACA will have is the 'contractual agreement' as to what medical interventions will cost....
let's say setting a leg was $500.00
the government/insurance will now tell the docs/hospitals etc that it will cost $300.00 and you have a co-pay of $100.00 but your new insurance premium is now $200.00/month more
then there is a tariff on the medical equipment
so yes it is EXTORTION and yes we THINK it's for our own good....
SHOW ME THE $$ TRAIL
like I said, AFFORDABLE is subjective.......
medical intervention medical insurance
healthcare is not part of the equation....healthcare is taking care of yourself...THAT'S FREE
the public is too stupid to know it's mixing the terminology.....

Yes Boxy, we all know your revisionist history where Obama was secretly heading the investigative teams looking for OBL for 10 years and then jumped in the chopper to lead SEAL Team 6 to get him. Oh wait, he just said 'Go'....Just like everyone else would have, except Bill Clinton. Unlike Monica's mouth, he 'pulled out' when we had OBL in our sights back then.

He sure did.....His name is all over it and it's crashing faster than the asteroid that killed the dinos .....As far as some GOP POTUS supporting UHC, I'm sure you have a snippet of someone, taken totally out of context.

Yeah,,,Awesome job with Syria, women and children still getting slaughtered and oh yeah, it was Putin, not Obama that's taking care of ChemWeaps....It will be known in history as the 'Obama Butt Fumble' Iran still has it's nuke program and does nothing to address drawing it down and/or eliminating it. You know it's bad when Israel and the Saudis agree with each other. Ending two wars? Iraq draw down and troop removal was in place YEARS before Barry took over, but he still fcuked it all up by not leaving a contingency force , now it's a complete mess. The Afgan deal looks to keep 8000 troops there indefinitely under a 'security pact'....So I don't know where you got the idea that Afgan was ending. And how come you left out Obama's other great feats like Egypt and Libya? |

Yet Just Another ObamaCare success story...
Quoted Text
Last summer Ellen Holzman and Meredith Vezina, a married gay couple in San Diego County, got kicked off their long-term Kaiser health plan, for which they'd been paying more than $1,300 a month. The cause wasn't the Affordable Care Act, as far as they knew. They'd been living outside Kaiser's service area, and the health plan had decided to tighten its rules. That's when they discovered the chilly hazards of dependence on the individual health insurance market. When they applied for a replacement policy with Anthem Blue Cross of California, Ellen, 59, disclosed that she might have carpal tunnel syndrome. She wasn't sure--her condition was still being diagnosed by Kaiser when her coverage ended. But the possibility was enough to scare Anthem. "They said, 'We will not insure you because you have a pre-existing condition,'" Holzman recalls. But they were lucky, thanks to Obamacare. Through Covered California, the state's individual insurance marketplace, they've found a plan through Sharp Healthcare that will cover them both for a total premium of $142 a month, after a government subsidy based on their income. They'll have a higher deductible than Kaiser's but lower co-pays. But their possible savings will be impressive.

I'm no longer sure he did "get bin Ladin. We have a video with the Secretary of State reacting to something gross, it could've been a YouTube video. When you blatantly lie, as both Hillary and Barack did, people start to question previous statements, and not just 'conspiracy theorists', call us 'people who know better than to believe anything that comes out of a bald-faced liar's mouth'.

More ObamaCare Successes...
Quoted Text
David Shevlino, 51, is an artist in Delaware. Between the COBRA policy that extends the coverage his wife, Kathy, received at a former job and the bare-bones policy that covers himself and their 15-year-old son, they've been laying out $1,000 a month in premiums. Next year they'll pay $650 a month, after the government subsidy, for a plan through Blue Cross of Delaware that covers the entire family and provides many services that have been excluded up to now. That makes a big difference, especially for Kathy, who is still dealing with injuries she suffered in a cycling accident and that would have made her uninsurable once her COBRA ran out less than a year from now. "She had already been turned down by Aetna and Blue Cross, the very company that will now insure her," Shevlino says. "This is a really significant thing--to me, the fact that insurance companies could turn you down didn't make sense in terms of what healthcare is supposed to be for."

Okay, what "theory" am I believing? What proof do we have of what Hillary was looking at? Her word? You mean it really was a YouTube video that brought about our ambassador's death in Benghazi? Either that is true, or Hillary was telling a bald-faced lie for political gain. If she was telling a ridiculous, horrible lie about a situation like that, she can't be trusted not to tell horrible lies about ANYTHING. Where is the CONSPIRACY in that? |

When you support authoritarianism like box, the authoritarians word is all you need. See Gulf of Tonkin(58k dead Americans, millions of dead Vietnamese) If you question the authoritarian's words, you are a racist, conspiracy theorist, anarchist, sovereign citizen, Teabagger, or any other label meant to prevent people looking someplace else besides the government authoritarians for what box so loosely calls "FACTS". |

Still More ObamaCare Successes!
Quoted Text
Judith Silverstein, 49, a Californian who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2007. Her family helps her pay the $750 monthly cost of her existing plan--which she only had because of federal law requiring that insurers who provide employer-based insurance continue to offer coverage if the employer goes out of business, as hers did. Next year she'll get a subsidy that will get her a good "silver" level plan for $50. For Silverstein that coverage is indispensable. Her case is relatively mild, but MS is a progressive condition that typically has made its sufferers pariahs of the individual insurance market in the past. "I researched the options," she says. "Nobody's going to sell you insurance in the individual market if you have MS." But these customers can't be excluded or saddled with big premium markups any more.
