Ya think???

sh!t just falls out of boxys mouth!!!

one can only hope that boxy is in the minority of the 'clueless'!

My views are my own,  but the views of the American People did elect Barack Hussein
Obama, then after 4 years, they reelected him to the office.
That view is far from the minority.

The number of Americans who self identify as "Republicans" has been shrinking to a record lows...
(speaking of a "minority".)

The Bush Economic Meltdown is over and the economy is on the rebound... in spite of the anti jobs,
anti health care, anti everything, obstructionist Republican House.

Most economists agree that the bellwether mark for job growth is 200,00-250,000 jobs a month in a good recovery. We won't really see the true state of this recovery (and the economy) until the Fed stops pumping money into it. Once the fed does this, the Stock market will react plus or minus solely on the state of economy itself and not due to artificial stimulation

In a "good recovery" both the Democrats and the Republicans are working to improve the economy.
This is the GOP "we hope he fails" recovery.

I don't believe government is the deciding factor is economic growth and contraction. They get way too much credit and blame on the Economy.
They don't "create" jobs or lose them, unless they are true government jobs.

I somewhat agree.
IMO, Govt can 'create' jobs in the private sector to temporarily nudge the economy.  Govt contracts for
infrastructure is one example.  The overall recovery depends on the private sector.

LOL. Did you read your own post???
If they now have health insurance, (and they do) nothing will change.  They don't have to change
anything and keep their present health care coverage.

keeping it has nothing to do with PAYING FOR IT......that's the elephant in the room.....they don't do the math for you
when you have to do your freaking taxes....or tell you about those CADILLAC SURCHARGES that go to 'someone/thing'...

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Obama economy: Part-time jobs swamp full-time jobs

By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times

August 5, 2013, 02:14PM

House Republicans have crunched the numbers and say that since President Obama took office, the economy has added seven times more part-time jobs than it has created full-time jobs.

Since January 2009 the country has added a net total of 270,000 full-time jobs, but it has added 1.9 million part-time jobs, according to the House Ways and Means Committee.

The numbers come as Republicans argue that the president’s health care law is pushing businesses to save money and push workers into shorter schedules to avoid the penalties that come from hiring more full-time workers, who under the law will be required to be covered with health care insurance.

How misleading is that Box, Obama was the one who issued the order to exempt Congress not the Reps. So again your post is not accurate.

No Shadow... YOU are the one who is NOT ACCURATE, but don't take my word for it...
read below from FactCheck.ORG:

Q: Is it true that there are bills in Congress that would exempt members and their staffs
and families from buying into “Obamacare”?
A: No. Congress members and staffers will be required to buy insurance through the
exchanges on Jan. 1.

(NaturalNews) I wish I could say I was shocked by President Obama's decision to exempt lawmakers and their staffs from the ravages of his signature "healthcare reform" law, but I'm not.

For one, the president has issued so many waivers and exemptions to political allies since the U.S. Supreme Court mistakenly upheld the law as constitutional that it figured he would do the same for Congress. And two, back in May, the leaders of both parties were caught negotiating in secret to find a way to exempt themselves from a law the Legislative Branch passed [http://www.naturalnews.com].

Granted, the decision to largely exempt lawmakers "officially" came from a "ruling" issued by the Office of Personnel Management. But the OPM is part of the federal bureaucracy, and the federal bureaucracy is managed by the Executive Branch, which is headed by the president. Plus, it's being reported that Obama personally intervened to ensure this "ruling" was issued.

Now that lawmakers, who have touted this law as the end-all, be-all of healthcare reform, have successfully managed to exempt themselves from its ravages, what about the rest of us? What recourse do we have?

Yes Shadow.  We're all well aware of your sources.

Natural News???

Quoted Text
NaturalNews (formerly Newstarget) is a website dedicated to alternative medicine
and various conspiracy theories, such as chemtrails, the alleged dangers of fluoride
in drinking water (as well as that of MSG and aspartame) and alleged health problems
caused by "toxic" ingredients in vaccines, including the now-discredited link to autism.

Here Box from a site you may even believe.

The Office of Personnel Management, under heavy pressure from Capitol Hill, will issue a ruling that says the government can continue to make a contribution to the health care premiums of members of Congress and their aides, according to several Hill sources.

Latest on POLITICO

A White House official confirmed the deal and said the proposed regulations will be issued next week.
Just Wednesday, POLITICO reported that President Barack Obama told Democratic senators that he was personally involved in finding a solution.

From your link, Politico:

The problem was rooted in the original text of the Affordable Care
Act.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) inserted a provision which said members of
Congress and their aides must be covered by plans “created” by the law or
“offered through an exchange.”

Looks like the Republicans had to Fug this up too!
Be sure to blame Republican Senator Grassley.
