Ah yes... once the GOP breaks the govt, they then complain "GOVT DOESN'T WORK"! The "single payer option", which would have taken commercial insurance companies out of the game, was broadly condemned by the RIGHT as "SOCIALIST HEALTH CARE." Hence, those who BROKE THE SYSTEM, can now COMPLAIN THAT THE SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK! Classic Rabid Right Thinking! |

Republican Complaints About ObamaCare Make the Argument for Single PayerAn alternative to insurance costing more money individually is single payer, a point the Rabid RIGHT has been fighting since the beginning. The more Republicans complain about individual costs and the failure of the website for the exchanges, the more they are making the argument for "single payer" or Medicare for everyone.
Quoted Text
For that 10% who are paying more, it’s called paying as you go — something Republicans know little about when they are in power (Medicare Part D was unfunded, unlike ObamaCare). Republicans claim ObamaCare is unfair because it makes the “makers” pay for the poor, but people with private insurance were already paying for the uninsured.

That is one way of looking at it. The FACTS are that those cancelled plans didn't even come up to a minimum standard for Health Care Insurance in America. Oh yea... FREEDOM!!! They now have the FREEDOM to continue to get ripped off for overpriced/underperforming health insurance for one more year.
So the "substandard" policies they could have bought before, but didn't, because they may have been willing to pay out of pocket for their own maternity care and contraception. NOW are forced to pay for this coverage they will never use. What did I say before? Oh yeah...You are free do do what you want, as long as it's mandated. Thanks Obama. Giving a new definition to freedom. Everybody in America must be "standard" based on some mindless bureaucrats definition of standard. |

Amazing how some people are so angry that those with out health care will now have it available at a reasonable cost.
It reminds me of a political truism: "A Republican can't enjoy a meal unless he knows somebody else is hungry."
NOT HEALTH CARE.....it's health insurance to get MEDICAL TREATMENT..... health care is not keeping ones lazy a$$ on the couch playing video games....choice choice choice...... |

I'm glad that I'm a WE and not an I like Cicero. He's all alone when he drives on HIS roads that HE built. No one else can drive on Cissy's roads, cause they are HIS!No one else put anything into those roads, just Cissy. WE, (the rest of us) built roads in Alaska, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Oregon etc... but "I" will never drive on those roads. Cissy only builds roads that HE will use. |

so what you're saying is that you never were and never will be responsible for your healthcare...you're going to pay someone/thing else to value you and guide you along like cattle? you're trading your healthcare for health insurance and regulation of your life? I guess that IS a form of 'free trade'....hhhmmm |

Senders is taking Straw Man lessons from Cicero!
you never defined health care, health insurance, medical care....you arbitrarily use all as the same..... your running around outside break a leg, go to the hospital for medical attention and your health insurance pays for the medical treatment.....your leg heals and you go back to making your own healthcare choices.... you go to the doctor for a physical which is called healthcare but really is medical treatment, your insurance pays for this and I'm not sure what the purpose is....trade? getting a physical before participating in sports????? WOW! talk about insurance fraud out of fear...how did we get there? YUP! you guessed it....lawyers, with legislation/regulation power.... those who control the legislation control the masses those who control the regulation control trade SHOW ME THE $$ TRAIL...... I bet we could prove that pensions are WELL connected to insurance revenues..... |

Who was talking about roads? Hey box, put that straw man photo up. You are really comparing public road to personal health insurance? Just say you want to dictate what I can have for dinner tonight. That would be consistent with you authoritarianism. If I'm getting steak, and somebody else is eating hot dogs, sh*t, I must owe somebody a steak dinner. |

So... Cicero is OK with paying for roads he will never drive on, and paying for air traffic control for planes he will never fly on, but against paying for health care insurance that he may never use... he protests! The truth of this is, of course, that everyone WITH health care insurance, has been paying for everyone WITHOUT insurance for decades. A middle class small businessman with a pre existing condition CAN NOW BUY affordable insurance. As with almost all of Cissy's posts... I GOT MINE... SCREW EVERYONE ELSE. |

Really, you are back to roads? Doubling down on the straw man I see. LOL Deciding to get insurance to cover a colonoscopy is like driving on a road according to box. |

Says Bernie Sanders. How bout Bernie bring single payer to Vermont? Everybody would flood into Vermont because it is massively popular, right? It amazes me that the poor from other countries immigrated to the US, which had no national healthcare, leaving their countries in Europe that were nationaling their medicine. Odd. |

Um... Vermont does have single payer.
You need me to buy you a bus ticket?lol You can use those roads you have been talking about to get you there. Who am I kidding, you would never voluntarily move somewhere that has the single payer you so love. You must continue to try to FORCE it on to everybody, because you understand what is good for everybody. |
