55bird, no one seems to notice that, the individual mandate was found to be unconstitutional. The horrible spectacle of a Supreme Court Justice giving himself a pat on the back for practicing partisan politics by coming up with a way to circumvent our rights and allow his favorite president to inflict this tyranny on the American people, it went against everything our ancestors risked their lives for. Congress has the power to tax, I have not seen a vote on a tax.
All the charts in the world don't change the fact that real people are suffering real harm, right now, because of this fraudulent, ill-conceived, illegal act. |

It's amazing to watch the panic in the GOP (and some board righties) that the "law of the land" Obamacare will be a success. They've tried 40 times to get rid of Obamacare, and failed every time.

True dat, bt. The reason this is the "law of the land" is because both "sides" allowed it, because they don't care, because the plan was all along that it would not affect them. If it is "the law of the land", our President should be removed from office for breaking the law. Somebody explain to me, if this is so wonderful, why congressional aides don't want it? The people who a actually being affected the most by it, that I heard from, don't like it. A lot of those in favor, initially, thought that they were going to get better health care, for free. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. |

BTW, Box, I'm in no way a "rightie". Dave Ramsey, the guy with the radio show with the advice on getting out of debt? He's a devout Christian, totally in favor of "helping" those in need, yet he hates Obamacare. Go figure. |

Prohibition was law of the land....Again I ask....What happened to that again? |

Prohibition was repealed not because it did no one any good, but because it did far more harm. Unfortunately, with Obamacare, it is going to fail, it has already fallen apart, but we are all going to undergo much more harm than Prohibition ever brought about before it collapses completely, and much of the damage will be permanent. What kind of government inflicts this much intentional pain and suffering on its citizens? |

It's a government that's telling their citizens to "eat cake". There should be a couple of Guillotines built near Washington, DC to remind them what happened to rulers like that. |

Yea only in this show, the Dems are succeeding as the GOP is locked in a civil war that threatens to bring the whole country down. All because a black man is a success as a US President. Remember the words of the spokesman of the GOP, "I Hope He Fails"? |

I never accused you of the terrible sin of being a 'board rightie'. There are lots of supposed "devout Christians" who are bigots. I don't know Ramsey but he isn't alone. |

Prohibition was law of the land....Again I ask....What happened to that again?
The same thing that happened to Jim Crow laws, and to laws restricting interracial marriage... They fell by their own weight. So what are you so afraid of. If ObamaCare is so bad, why is it law? Why did most US presidents since Ike favor universal health care for all Americans? Why is the USA the only developed nation with out some form of Universal Health Care? Answer: Because there are lots of Republicans (and some Democrats) making millions keeping the status quo, and they are in a panic because they know that their gravy train will derail with Obamacare |

The GOP has voted (unsuccessfully) to repeal Obamacare over 40 times. There is a "right way" to get rid of a law... and the GOP's scam "was not even close to being the Right Way". |

And what is the right way, our representatives are using their power to challenge a law many disagree with, that is how it is done box. |
