"We had the power to do it in a way that would have simplified healthcare, made it more efficient and made it less costly and we didn’t do it," Harkin told The Hill. "So I look back and say we should have either done it the correct way or not done anything at all. What we did is we muddled through and we got a system that is complex, convoluted, needs probably some corrections and still rewards the insurance companies extensively," added Harkin, who is retiring from the Senate. Democrats appear to be catching up to the negative attitudes many Americans have toward Obamacare. Read Latest Breaking News from Newsmax.com http://www.Newsmax.com/Newsfro.....12213/#ixzz3Lbd7JUwt

"we won't know what's in it unless we vote for it"....
It was pushed through to give Obama a win as a president of the democratic party....simple
the American people could have very simply refused to pay the 'health insurance' companies....now the IRS is going to be the government insurance police....
let's see who gets killed for selling 'loosie medical care'...... |

Copayment/coinsurance in drug plans The amount you pay for each of your prescriptions after you have paid the deductible (if your plan has one) is either a copayment or coinsurance. Some Medicare Prescription Drug Plans have different levels or " tiers " of copayments or coinsurance, with different costs for different types of drugs.
With a copayment, you pay a set amount (like, $10) for all drugs on a tier. For example, you may pay a lower copayment for generic drugs than brand-name drugs. Coinsurance means you pay a percentage of the cost (like, 25%) of the drug. Note Usually, the amount you pay for a covered prescription is for a one-month supply of a drug. However, you can request less than a one-month supply for most types of drugs. You might do this if you’re trying a new medication that’s known to have significant side effects or you want to synchronize the refills for all your medications. If you do this, the amount you pay is reduced based on the quantity you actually get. Talk with your prescriber to get a prescription for less than a one-month supply. |

“The U.S. economy posted its strongest growth in more than a decade during the third quarter, supported by robust consumer spending and business investment,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
“Gross domestic product, the broadest measure of goods and services produced across the economy, grew at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.0% in the third quarter… That was up from the second quarter’s growth rate of 4.6% and the strongest pace since the third quarter of 2003. |

LOL.....Says 'Comrade' Sanders, who's net worth went from (ca.) $140k in '04 to (ca.) $500k in '12....A 228% increase in a mere 8 years ( avg. 29% growth per year, while the "99%" lost 0.94%). Wonder how that happened? ( http://ballotpedia.org/Bernie_Sanders ) Oh, and nobody cares what Democrats say. |

Thanks to President Obama???
NOPE! Thanks to the GOP Tax Cuts For The Rich!
Good Try...If you are talking about the tax cuts from 2001-2007...based on the graph, the "bush tax cuts" made all classes more prosperous. It appears the Obama policies only benefit the wealthy and actually make the poor more poor. |
