Would you believe Obama's estimate after this: Dec 12 Obama health care promise named 'Lie of the Year' By NBC Politics
Fact-checking organization Politifact has named their “Lie of the Year,” and it’s bad news for the White House and the Affordable Care Act.
President Barack Obama’s often-repeated assertion that “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it,” won the ignominious honor for 2013, the group announced.
Only democrats voted for the ACA. They could have passed single payer, they had the votes. "Righties" couldn't have stopped it.
If that's what you want to believe Cissy... go ahead.

The public health insurance option , also known as the public insurance option or the public option, was a proposal to create a government-run health insurance agency which would compete with other health insurance companies within the United States. The proposal was initially part of the debates surrounding the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, but was not passed in the final reconciled bill.
The Senate Finance Committee on Tuesday rejected two amendments to include a government-run public health insurance option in the only compromise health care bill so far.
Sen. Max Baucus said the public option provision would "hold back meaningful reform this year." The amendments by Democratic Sens. Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia and Charles Schumer of New York were opposed by all 10 Republicans on the committee and a few Democrats, including committee Chairman Sen. Max Baucus of Montana.
Baucus explained that he liked much about the idea of a public option but that he knew a health care bill containing the provision would fail to win enough support in the full Senate to overcome a Republican filibuster.
"I fear if this provision is in the bill, it will hold back meaningful reform this year," Baucus said.

Bullshit Boxy, HHS has the numbers. They have the full breakdown of who, what, where, when, how and why.
They aren't going to release it because it's going to show that the system is totally FUBAR and the numbers that they have been spouting is a lie.
The law has been illegally changed over 30 times and nobody knows WTF is going on at this point.
Don't blame the GOP, Boxy because there has been nothing they can do to stop it.

Reid could have forced the nuclear option on filibusters...game over for the GOP... The way WAS there... they just didn't have the will

When ObamaCare first was being debated, I waited and waited and waited for the Republican proposal... You know... what the GOP wanted for America's uninsured or underinsured... Still not a peep from the Republicans except to oppose ObamaCare or any other Care for the USA.

"The Republican Alternative to Obamacare Cycle" It's a never ending loop that goes something like this:
Quoted Text
1. Republicans propose "alternatives" to Obamacare that don't go anywhere. 2. Allied partisans urge them to finally get serious and come up with a replacement. 3. They make new promises to keep at it. 4. Their return to the drawing board prompts columns from liberals about how the GOP lacks an alternative. 5. Allied partisans then criticize liberal pundits for saying there is "no alternative plan," citing the many plans that have been proposed, that went nowhere. 6. New alternatives are proposed and/or promised nonetheless, and the cycle repeats
May 2009: Sens. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) and Richard Burr (R-N.C.), along with Reps. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) introduce their Patient's Choice Act.
June 2009: "I guarantee you we will provide you with a bill." -- Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.)
July 2009: In late July, the GOP-alternative effort briefly falls into contradictions. In a July 23 conference with GOP House leadership, Blunt declared, "As the president has gotten less specific, we have been more specific." Cantor proclaimed that the GOP had a "third way" to do health care reform. A day before, however, Blunt had said that the GOP would not bother introducing a bill
September 2009: "The Republican health care plan for America: don't get sick ... if you do get sick, America, the Republican health care plan is this: die quickly." -- Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.)
October 2009: The Hill reports that the GOP is still at square one, debating what to do.
March 2010: "And, once we defeat Barack Obama, we need to proceed to repeal this disastrous plan before it can ruin our health care system. Then we must replace it with a Republican alternative that relies on the marketplace, tax incentives and individual responsibility to provide health care to all Americans." -- Dick Morris
June 2010: Once again, the GOP managed a pileup of competing alternatives. Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) offers RedState readers "four commonsense alternatives to Obamacare," detailing H.R. 5421, "To repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010." The bill was referred to committee, and nothing came of it.
August 2010: Writing for Fox News, Christian Wilton suggests that a GOP-controlled Congress needs to "refuse to appropriate money required for federal agencies to implement Obamacare, buying time to offer a Republican alternative."
September 2010: The GOP releases its "Pledge To America," which includes a promise to repeal Obamacare and replace it
February 2011: A GAME-CHANGING IDEA EMERGES: Jeffrey Anderson in the Weekly Standard: "But while Americans want repeal, they don't just want repeal. And thus the House Republicans are now confronted with their greatest challenge -- and opportunity -- in the whole span of the health care debate. They need to show the American people that the choice is not between Obamacare and nothing. They need to provide a meaningful, sensible alternative to Obamacare's comprehensive failings."
See the cycle? It continues through 2011, 2012, 2013 and to today. We STILL don't have the GOP alternative to ObamaCare... and we never will.

FactCheck.Org doesn't represent any political view... I'll stick with their opinion until the actual data is known.
the EXACT data will come from the IRS who is responsible for fining all non-abiding ACA american-criminals....

Off-exchange enrollment is the forgotten piece of the Affordable Care Act, but it could represent millions of people who are also getting covered as a result of the health care law—many of whom are the young, healthy customers the administration is so aggressively pursuing.

A Self Confessed FoxSnooze Watching Republican, on ObamaCare:
Quoted Text
I am a staunch Republican, a self-proclaimed Fox News addict, and I didn't vote for the President. And I'm here to tell you that Obamacare works. I'm living proof.
I'm a chemotherapy patient, and was previously paying $428 a month for my health coverage. I was not thrilled when it was cancelled.
Then I submitted an application at HealthCare.gov. I looked at my options. And I signed up for a plan for $62 a month.
It's the best health care I have ever had.
So right now, here's what I want to tell anyone who still needs health insurance, or knows someone who does:
Sign up. Follow the instructions on the website. Apply, and look at your options. You still have time, and take it from me: This is something you want to do.
I wrote a letter to President Obama this past February to tell him about my experience with the Health Insurance Marketplace. I hoped he'd read it, and he did.
I may not be a supporter of the President. But now, I get mad when I see Obamacare dragged through the mud on television.
And even though I regularly tune in to conservative pundits, I'd like to tell them they're getting it wrong. Obamacare works.
So one more time: If you still need health insurance, you have just three days to get it. Do what I did. Go to HealthCare.gov, submit an application, and pick a plan that works for you.
It just might change your life.

read the small print for $62/month....I've talked to folks who don't understand that there are different levels.
I do know that age will be a factor in determining what a person wants for medical treatment....there ARE cut offs being made that never existed before.....
especially in post surgical rehab, they are telling people what they think they can tolerate

Republicans are running against destroying Obamacare, but as the deadline for enrollment approaches long lines formed to sign up in red state cities like Tampa, El Paso, and Houston. The Republican controlled South has gutted the social safety net. Because of Republican obstructionism, almost 5 million people in the South will get no help with purchasing health insurance. People in red states are flocking to sign up because their Republican governors and state legislatures have made it almost impossible to get help at the state level.
All Republicans can do is step aside and watch the people that they took an oath to represent, stand in line, and reject their anti-Obamacare rhetoric.
There may be no bigger symbol of the president’s victory than the rush of red state residents who are signing up for the ACA.

Healthcare.gov signup system down on deadline day CNBC.com staff | @CNBC 1 Hour Ago CNBC.com
Hours before the deadline for enrolling, the online page for enrolling in Obamacare went down Monday. The deadline is midnight Monday to sign up for private health insurance in the new online markets created by President Barack Obama's health-care law. So far, about 4 of every 5 people enrolling have qualified for tax credits to reduce the cost of their premiums.
"HealthCare.gov marketplace application and enrollment system is currently unavailable. The tech team is working now to bring the system online as soon as possible," the Department of Health and Human Services said in a statement Monday morning.
By about 8 a.m. ET, the enrollment system was back up and running. The online application had been unavailable since 3:20 a.m.
9.5 Million Uninsured People Covered Under Obamacare (LA Times)
About 9.5 million Americans who were previously uninsured have gotten health coverage under Obamacare, according to a new analysis.
The Los Angeles Times reported the number, which combines data from an unpublished study by RAND Corp. with other publicly available figures. It's one of the most comprehensive efforts yet to asses the law's impact on the uninsured as open enrollment comes to a close.
Quoted Text
The numbers break down like this: ~ 6 million people have enrolled in private coverage through Healthcare.gov and its state counterparts. The Times estimated that about one-third of them -- or about 2 million -- were uninsured, based in part on new numbers from RAND. ~ 4.5 million previously uninsured people have signed up for Medicaid since the law launched in October, according to RAND. ~ 3 million young adults age 26 and younger have gotten covered through their parents' insurance plan, as the law allows.
RAND also estimated that about 9 million people have signed up for coverage directly through their insurer, though most of those people were already insured. RAND has surveyed 3,300 adults, ages 18 to 64, nationally. It estimated that the uninsured rate for that population has fallen from 20.9 percent to 16.6 percent.
