Thank you to all those that never had insurance for signing up and finally getting insurance. I appreciate it, because I'm sick and tired of paying higher rates to help cover all the health costs you have all run up over the years. Your lack of insurance and inability to pay were some of the drivers behind rising medical costs which in turn translated into higher premiums for those of us that did have insurance. So thank you for finally thinking about your own needs, even though the Government finally stepped up and told you that you must do it.........
JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!! JUST BECAUSE MC1 SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO!!!!!

You also pay for a higher price for food to compensate for shrink caused by theft. Yet, nobody is crying for a minimum requirement for how much and what kind of food you purchase, and force every American pay for food insurance. This is really mind boggling logic.
Everybody should have a minimum $1200 per month food insurance policy. Government needs to step in, because I'm sick and tired of paying inflated food prices because of thieves.

Gourmet cheese and beef joints are among the top stolen items in the UK, a new report has shown. Middle class shoppers have turned to stealing out of need for food, due to the weak economy, with the total cost of retail theft hitting £3.4bn last year.
Shoplifting has proved to be the biggest concern for UK retailers, accounting for 36 percent of total losses, or £1.224 billion, according to the 2012-2013 Global Retail Theft Barometer, conducted by consumer market research company, Euromonitor.

You are correct...read what you wrote several times....the way you equate apples with bowling balls is really mind boggling logic.

Theft is theft. Apple to apples. You made the claim that you were paying for those that do not(stealing services). It happens everyday, in all industries, companies make up the loses by adjusting prices on those that can pay. I have a sneaky suspicion you knew that.
Supporters of President Obama’s health care law had predicted that expanding insurance coverage for the poor would reduce costly emergency room visits because people would go to primary care doctors instead. But a rigorous new experiment in Oregon has raised questions about that assumption, finding that newly insured people actually went to the emergency room a good deal more often.
The study, published in the journal Science, compared thousands of low-income people in the Portland area who were randomly selected in a 2008 lottery to get Medicaid coverage with people who entered the lottery but remained uninsured. Those who gained coverage made 40 percent more visits to the emergency room than their uninsured counterparts during their first 18 months with insurance.

And nearly 3 to 1 margin lost their coverage because of ObamaCare
Working as intended.

A few insurance companies today have millions of new customers, meaning higher profits, higher bonuses, higher salaries.
Wall St thanks you Obama, millions of new guaranteed revenue flowing into Wall St.
Yea, I'm hoping that when the Righties realize that they've been taken for a ride, they'll join their Democrat brethren and help pass 'single payer'.

The study is significant as a predictor of what may happen nationwide, not just in Oregon. I don't know if I said it on this board, but its something I believed for a long time...the people that go to the ER for a common cold will not stop going there just because they now have insurance...The reason they go to the ER the first place is because they don't want to wait their turn in line at the Doctors office.

I think that they may go to the ER because that's where they have gone in the past.
As far as waiting in line... Have you ever been to the ER with a non emergency? Most ER's will refuse a common cold and will tell you to go see your own DR. ER's don't have to treat you unless you have a life threatening condition.
