Sorry I'm not pro-coercion, pro-security state, pro-authoritarian, pro-collectivism. I understand that those are the qualities of a patriotic American.

I choose to not wave a flag celebrating death and destruction, that hasn't done one damm thing except to make the US a less safer place to live.
I don't attempt to force my views on anyone.
I don't tell anyone to get out of the country for not believing what I believe.
But as long as people are killing in my name, I will be speaking out against it.

American patriotism has transformed the US government into an us and "those people" mentality.
"Those people"not deserving the same rights, freedoms and protection under our government's actions that all equal men should be treated with. The rights are not given by the US government. They are the rights that "all men are born with and deserve."
Spreading American freedom and democracy by ignoring these rights is admitting we don't hold these people as equals.Apparently Obomber, Bush and friends don't consider rights to belong to anyone except American citizens.
Self evident rights apparently are over ridden by US panic and paranoia.
Memorial Day has turned into memorializing the wars and not the soldier. We are expected to mourn the soldier and celebrate the wars they died in. It is pure war propaganda today to continue the endless wars.

Most Americans only recognize body counts for their moral determination of right side wrong side. As long as our military is killing more of "them"(whoever they are) than us, they draw the conclusion that we are on the right side.
If we kill more of them, that means God is on our side. And we believe in a moral and just God. So if we were on the wrong side, "they" would be killing more of us.
They keep on spewing their hate... but no one is listening.
