Joe Biden Sees 'No Legal Reason' Why We Can't Tax Violent Video Games

According to a report from Politico, Vice President Joe Biden stated that the United States government is well within its rights tax citizens on violent media.
During a meeting on immigration reform, the Vice President met with religious leaders when the subject of violent video games was brought up. Reverend Franklin Graham asked if the taxation of violent media was something that was within the rights of the executive branch.
"Graham told Biden the government should consider taxing media companies that broadcast violent images and produce violent video games."
“He floated the idea that media and entertainment that portray violence should be subject to a special tax, with the proceeds going to help victims and their families."

Well how the hell can GOV ALMIGHTY put restrictions/bans on guns when the major multi-billion dollar video industry is making gazillions by selling violent video games with GUNS ........ to KIDS???????

The new laws Cuomo and Obama rushed into place gave Hollywood and the entertainment industry a free pass. Cuomo wants to put in a special exemption for his 1% Hollywood pals. I'm not saying the games are bad, but gun owners who had nothing to do with Newtown had their rights curtailed, and Adam Lanza was most definitely influenced by violent games. But wait, violent games and movies make money! What to do? Childrens' lives vs. money...hmmm... we can't ban violent games, Hollywood or whatever wouldn't make as much money...hmmm... I know! TAX the games! That will put the cost on the consumer! But wait! Won't the children still be killed?...hmmm.... I know! We give the money to the VICTIMS! It's a win-win!
Does this seem insane to anyone else?
