Do you shoot him to procure your rights, and deny his?
He can believe whatever he wishes, he can't force me to try to follow his religious beliefs, if he did yes shoot him

Yea I figured that the 'enforcement' of your rights would be the classic 'one size fits all' Right Wing Solution to every problem... Shoot em.

So my rights are exact, legal, specific... yours are vague and what everyone wants them to be at the time they are fighting for them...
Mine are the basis for my government... Yours are... nothing... just an idea.
Which would I prefer... real, specific, legal, enforceable, guaranteed RIGHTS, or Henry's vague idea where every citizen makes up what is and is not a right???
No contest.
Um... Henry. What happens if YOU think that you have a right to freedom of religion... and your neighbor, thinks that his rights include a national religion?
Do you shoot him to procure your rights, and deny his?
This is the amazing logic of the statist. They actually believe that on the 6th day God created the legislature. Even if you believe in evolution, the statist believes that the evolutionary process prior to the ape evolving into human, the government evolved in between to give them their rights.
When Americans agreed upon a government to govern over them, they attempted to guarantee individual rights to prevent the anticipated tyranny governments historically evolve into.
I citizenry that believes it is the government that grants rights, also understands it can restrict rights.
In box's much cherished Roe v. Wade decision, does he believe women have a natural right to their body and the developing human life inside? Or was it only when the government granted her the right to her body? And can that right be taken away at any time, and the woman to be turned into a criminal and jailed.

I understand the concept... natural rights... you have them because you SAY YOU DO. That's it. I have a right to ICE CREAM. or GUNS or Water. Someone takes away my ice cream my guns and my water... what happens??? Um... Henry's One Size Fits All Solution... I SHOOT EM. (but they took away my guns )
Your natural rights are an IDEA. Nothing more. What guarantees Americans our rights isn't that idea... it's the US Constitution.

The bill of rights is natural rights don't you get that, the way you want it is that a government has control and grants you your rights, that's not how it works or what we declared our independence for. If we wanted what you want we would of just stuck with King George

An idea? So how did people know how to behave prior to government telling them how to behave?
I can't wait till Cissy or Henry has his rights stepped on... He will hire a lawyer who will say... They can't do that. Your Right is guaranteed in the US constitution. We will win this lawsuit!
Henry/Cissy will say... no. We don't need no stinkin Constitution! We have Natural Law.
(At which time the Lawyer will switch from a commission fee, to a up front flat rate.)

Lets not forget your post on this thread that started this conversation. Being labelled a TERRORIST and put on a no fly list by the federal government is already stepping on rights WITHOUT due process. And you fully support the government taking away the rights of Americans that are guaranteed under the Constitution. You've already supported the governments right to take away your 2nd Amendment rights by taking away your 4th Amendemt right.
You don't even believe in the Constitution. Your posts prove it time and again. You've continually shown your support of the tyranny of the majority over the Constitution.

Box got so carried away he pretty much destroyed his 1st argument he was trying to give. He is never consistent and his views change to win an argument, usually it takes awhile to do this but now we see it in just 3 short pages

“The right to travel is a part of the ‘liberty’ of which the citizen cannot be deprived without the due process of law under the fifth amendment.” - The Supreme Court - 1958 -
Freedom of travel is a constitutional liberty closely related to the rights of free speech and association…the constitutional right to travel has been firmly established and epeatedly recognized…that a right so elementary was conceived from the beginning… In any event, freedom to travel throughout the United States has long been recognized as a basic right under the constitution.” - The Supreme Court - 1964 -

I could even understand if airlines had rules stating that airline security must perform searches as part of the airlines operation. That would merely be passengers agreeing to terms of service.
The searches and no fly lists are being enforced by the government.

George Washington would likely shoot them.
George Washington would be on the no fly list or in Gitmo.
So say if I live in N Korea, and I tell the govt there that I have a right to own a gun... I'll just tell em that it's my RIGHT and my RIGHTS are not given to me by MAN... And then they shoot me.
The exact same scenario in the USA... only I tell them that it's my RIGHT!!! My Constitutional right to free speech, to bear arms, freedom of (and from) religion... and GOVT bound by MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS insures my RIGHTS.
N Korea... no constitution but born with my god given rights... Im dead! USA... Constitutional rights (no god, no man) and I'm sippin an iced tea in the shade enjoying my RIGHTS.
So splain it again for me. Must be I have it wrong.
if you want the government to 'ensure' your freedom from yourself then, yes, move to N. Korea or the likes....because it's that personal and America was meant to be THE OPPOSITE OF A PRE-CRIME STATE...
