"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I've kind of given up on Bumbler's posts... Seldom are they actual FACTS.
Take this study for example... if you read the study you'd think that NY was terrible... I wonder if Bumbler read just WHO did this "national study"? Was it Gallup? How about Rasmussen or even Pew Research Poll?
Check out this National Poll:

The Mercatus Center at George Mason University (GMU) in the United States is a non-profit American market-oriented research, education, and outreach think tank affiliated with the Koch family. It works with policy experts, lobbyists, and government officials to connect academic learning and real-world practice.
A little history:
Quoted Text
The Mercatus Center was founded by Rich Fink as the Center for the Study of Market Processes at Rutgers University. After the Koch family provided more than thirty million dollars to George Mason University, the Center moved to George Mason in the mid-1980s before assuming its current name in 1999.
Funding?
Quoted Text
Mercatus Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit and does not receive support from George Mason University or any federal, state or local government, but rather is entirely funded through donations, including some from companies like Koch Industries and ExxonMobil, individual donors and foundations.
Comments:
Quoted Text
Washington Post columnist Al Kamen has described Mercatus as a "staunchly anti-regulatory center funded largely by Koch Industries Inc." Rob Stein, the Democratic strategist, has called it "ground zero for deregulation policy in Washington.” The Wall Street Journal has called the Mercatus Center "the most important think tank you've never heard of.
Board of Directors? Richard H. Fink, Executive Vice President of Koch Industries. Charles G. Koch, Co-owner, Chairman and CEO of Koch Industries.
Really Bumbler... would you accept a "national study" from a similar totally OWNED and CONTROLLED extremist Left Wingers???

the dems AND reps have done EVERYTHING in their 'collective' powers to take more and more of our liberties/freedoms away....both state and federal. while the sheople are being 'lead' to think that 'other' issues are of great importance..........the dems AND reps are working day and night on how they can limit our freedoms!!!!
DEMS AND REPS = SAME..............different side of the same corrupt power driven government coin!!!

If the Koch Bros. have made donations, then the facts have to be skewed!
But when Boxy puts up his pie charts from organizations that are funded by Soros or Tides Foundation.....Well then that's the truth!
No Boxy, if you bothered to look that the rankings instead of C&P from Soros funded 'Media Matters' or 'Democratic Underground', you'll find that they are pretty much right on in terms of the criteria they used.
If it was so biased, Texas would have been in the top 5.
One other thing.....This was a study done by a major university, not poll of 1000 opinions

The study was done by The Mercatus Center not by 'a major university'. The Mercatus Center is located AT the university, but is privatly funded and gets no funds or oversight from the university. The Koch Bros OWN the Mercatus Center, and their results always seem to mirror the Koch Agenda. Picture this: If instead of the words "Koch Bros", substutute the words "GEORGE SOROS" and see if you think the study would be an unbiased report.

Ok then Boxy....Out of all 50 (or 57) States....What one has the most restrictions overall?
I'm going with NY because of what is outlined in the study.

I don't know which state is the most restrictive... I think that you might get different answers from different people.
Helmet laws in some states are considered 'restrictive' to some people, and 'reasonable' to others. Zoning laws, No Smoking laws etc are "restrictive" but welcomed my much of society.
