But, but...   What about his 2nd amendment Right?
(GunHuggers... It's their way or the highway)

Quoted Text
The owner of a gun shop in Tucson, Arizona on Monday refused to hand over an AR-15
military-style rifle that Mark Kelly purchased in order to demonstrate how easy it was to obtain
assault weapons.

In a statement posted to Facebook, Diamondback Police Supply owner Doug MacKinlay said
that he was blocking the former astronaut’s Second Amendment right because he questioned
the political “intent” behind the purchase.

“While I support and respect Mark Kelly’s 2nd Amendment rights to purchase, possess, and
use firearms in a safe and responsible manner, his recent statements to the media made it
clear that his intent in purchasing the Sig Sauer M400 5.56mm rifle from us was for reasons
other then for his personal use,” MacKinlay wrote.

Kelly, who is the husband of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), said that he had purchased
the rifle to show how easy it was to pass a background check. The effort was part of his
push for more gun control in response to his wife’s shooting and other recent mass
shootings.

I don't understand what's the big deal.  If a person went into a bar and planned purchase a drink in order to get publicity to promote an agenda to restrict the the purchase of alcohol, a responsible bar owner wouldn't serve that person.  It's in the bar owners best interest.  I applaud the gun shop owner for exercising his property rights.

SO much for the 2nd amendment.
The RIGHT to bear arms (according to Cissy) is only valid if it fits his political agenda.

Nope, property rights.  Mark Kelly is free to exercise is 2nd Amendment rights and call up Armilite or Bushmaster or one of the many other gun manufacturers and purchase a gun.  It is also the rights of the gun shop owner to not be used as a political pawn to push an agenda that will ultimately affect his livelihood negatively.

Cicero's RIGHTS are guaranteed by the US Constitution!!!

Mark Kelly's RIGHTS, are negotiable.

Nope, he can go to Armilite or Bushmaster and purchase an AR15.  The Arizona gun shop doesn't have to sell a gun to me either.

Don't you remember box, hundreds of gun dealers refused to sell to certain law enforcement?  Same thing.

A retailer has the right to not sell their product to the customer.  Especially when the customer intends to use their product to harm their business.

Looks like Kelly's PR stunt may have made this Arizona gun dealer MORE POPULAR.  Good job Mark!!!

Cicero's is right on this one.
Casino's do it routinely to customers like card counters. Card Counting is not illegal but the Casinos are in their rights to refuse service. That's the ONLY right in question here, not Mark Kelly's rights. He can possess an gun according to the 2nd amendment. That amendment says nothing about how he gets the gun

He added that the store will return Kelly's money, donate the rifle to the Arizona Tactical Officers Association to be raffled as a fundraiser and make an additional contribution of $1,295 -- the value of the rifle -- to the Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program. The gun shop owner is doing more for gun safety then the hypocrite ever would, I wonder if it was boxes money that he donated that was going to be used to buy that AR-15
