US-led Libyan abuses worse than Gadhafi

Since the U.S.-led violent regime change in Libya, Hassan El Amin, chair of Libya's parliament human-right committee told a U.S. newspaper reporter than rights abuses are worse there than during Gadhafi's leadership.

“I have so many concerns about human rights violations in Libya, it is getting to a stage where it is even worse than during Gadhafi’s time,” El Amin told the Washington Times. “A lot of facts have become clear about human rights abuses [by the militias], the continuous attacks on the government, the kidnappings, and all of this is setting off a warning bell for the Libyan people.

Barack Obama began a war on Libya without Congressional discussion or approval. The U.S. supported a transitional government that replaced the Libya’s Moammar Gadhafi

Kids killed by American bombs in the name of liberation and spreading democacy are merely collateral damage.(piss on them if you want)  Only if they were killed by the Gadaffi regime and pissed on by his soldiers is it considered an atrocity.

Babies and children are acceptable collateral damage.

That's the price of being civilized.

But an on-the-ground examination by The New York Times of airstrike sites across Libya — including interviews with survivors, doctors and witnesses, and the collection of munitions remnants, medical reports, death certificates and photographs — found credible accounts of dozens of civilians killed by NATO in many distinct attacks. The victims, including at least 29 women or children, often had been asleep in homes when the ordnance hit.

Dead babies and kids that were killed by military actions the represent all Americans are all the same.

Victims of US aggression are all the same.

You condone it. I oppose it.

Happy baby killing!

If you really care about those civilian casualties by YOUR COUNTRY... why not do something about
it.  Why not vote for an anti war candidate???
NO?
Why not participate in the process to promote a candidate, or run for office yourself if you want to
change things.

Or... you can sit smug in your chair, typing about it, and changing nothing.
Your vote may have made a difference, but you were indifferent to the system.

Cic won't take responsibility for his country, for his local government, for himself...
he just whines and blames everyone else... but never blames himself.

He absolves himself of his countries actions and smugly blames every one else.

Pathetic!

Blames?  I just identify and commented on 3 marines pissing on dead bodies and civilians killed by US bombing a nation we are not at war with, there were no terrorist in Libya, and you say I'm "blaming"?  I'd say you are a bit defensively.

And it was YOUR President of change that said Iraq had nothing to do in the war on terror, and then he goes and bombs a country that had nothing to do with the war on terror.  Killing god knows how many civilians.  Really?

I don't blame everybody else, I draw contrast.  I really enjoy watching a self proclaimed liberal like yourself and neocon like Buckstrider in complete agreement defending the police state, the secret drone war, and killing US citizens without due process.  Statist will always agree with statist and defend the violent atrocities committed by the state.

Anti-fascism is the ideology that you truly despise.
