I think Newt is a piece of sh*t. But one thing I can't take away from him is his ability to change politically to meet changing mood of the country. Newt hitched his wagon to the horses of the future. By next week, Newt will be talking like a libertarian so he can stay relevant.

Sorry but I've heard this song a time or two... Ron Paul is the "wave of the future"... and again and again and .............. Mini Me Paul is no better (or worse) then Daddy Paul. Also just as electable.

Yup, fringe, irrelevant and unelectable. I've heard that before. I usually hear it coming out of the mouths of baby boomers. You talk to the younger generations that are paying the debt for the boomer's excesses and greed and you will hear something different.
