INDIAN LAKE – A Schenectady man died in a snowmobile crash Saturday after he collided with another rider while driving on the frozen lake at night.
State police said Paul A. Prill IV, 51, was traveling south about two miles from the Indian Lake Marina on Lake Shore Road around 7 p.m. when he crashed head-on into another snowmobile driven by Thomas R. Dykstra, 59, of Suffern.
Indian Lake is in the Adirondack Park, about an hour and 20 minutes north of Gloversville. Both men were ejected. They were taken to Nathan Littauer Hospital, where they were both pronounced dead. Autopsy results showed both men died from severe blunt force trauma.
Police said the cause of the accident is still under investigation, but alcohol was likely a contributing factor.
I wonder how the nayboobs will twist this story to blame it on somebody from city or county government.

Aw, poor baby, you just can't handle it when the "nayboobs" provide the EVIDENCE that something is indeed the fault of the city or county government, and/or metroplex.
I mean, would you care to explain, while housing values are going up all over the capital district, and sales are going up, please tell us who IS at fault for home values in Schenectady city going down? Huh? well? Answer? The more tax dollars thrown at downtown in the wild spending, the more tax exemptions given to the rich Galesi family and other cronies downtown, the higher the property taxes become on the homeowner and that reduces home values and results in more people unable to afford the taxes which then causes people to lose their homes which results in vacant (foreclosed) homes owned by the city which causes more expense to the city which results in more increase in taxes which then causes more good homeowners to put their homes up for sale to move someplace where taxes are lower, etc. Care to provide even one teeny weeny shred of evidence to disprove these FACTS. And tell us what party is leading the city while all this is happening???????
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
I saw a latter in Pravda today where some guy makes a comment about the song "I saw your boobs" which was supposedly sang at the Oscar awards. It must have been the idiot under one of his pen names because he goes on to say that it describes the republicans
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
