I was following your lead Henry... You suggested that there was something OTHER than a homeless man stabbing a trooper for no reason. YOUR WORDS: "The way the officers talk about it is that he stabbed him for no reason." Yea he did.
"...why would the cop ask for identification, doesn't make sense." It makes sense to me... but not to you. You assume the cop did something wrong.
"I'm just thinking maybe we aren't hearing the whole story" Why do you doubt the cop and not doubt the stabber?
"So why didn't he attack the other troopers, why did the officer ask for identification in the 1st place, these are things you are trying to ignore." ~Yea... what did the cop do to cause the homeless man to attack him??? Jezzzzzzzzzzzzz!
~Why did a cop ask for an identification if he was trying to place the man in a homeless shelter??? TO IDENTIFY HIM!
~Things that "I'm TRYING TO IGNORE"... I didn't ignore them... I responded to your suspicions that were aimed at THE COP... NOT THE STABBER.

You post nothing but hatred and suspicion against the military and the police. YOU are the one who kept casting doubt on the troopers story... but not on the stabbers story. You are the one arming himself for your imagined armageddon where the so called "patriots" do battle with the police and military. You are the one who questioned... He stabbed the trooper for 'no reason'... doesn't make sense.

I wanted a motive and a reason for needing an ID, we only know one side of the story so as time goes on I'm sure we will hear the other.

got a recipe?

You need a batch of the starter, then brew it for 10 days before you can make the actual bread. According to the directions... only the Amish know the recipe for the starter.

ALBANY - A corrections officer at the Albany Correctional Facility has been arrested on charges he conspired with two inmates to assault a third inmate.
The Albany County Sheriff's Office says, Craig Strizzi, along with two inmates, 34-year-old Matthew Chan and 46-year old Lauterio Santos waited for the victim to exit the recreation yard, Wednesday. Police say Strizzi held the victim, while Chan and Santos beat him about the head and body. Officer Strizzi is also accused of punching the inmate.
Investigators say that Strizzi then filed reports stating that the victim started the assault and that the two inmates came to his aide after Strizzi was forced to defend himself.
Strizzi, a 15 year veteran, was charged with unlawful imprisonment, writing a false statement, assault and conspiracy, and official misconduct.
Strizzi was arraigned on Friday and is released on $7,500 bail. He is currently suspended without pay. Criminal charges are to be filed against Chan and Santos, who are currently serving sentences at the Albany Correctional Facility on unrelated charges.

Eric Green, 18, of Albany, was indicted by an Albany County grand jury in the stabbing of on-duty Trooper Rodney Smith. He is also charged with first-degree assault, aggravated assault on a police officer and two counts of first-degree robbery, all violent felonies.
The attempted murder charge carries the possibility of a life sentence. The other charges carry 25-year maximums.
The indictment alleges that at about 3:20 p.m. Sunday, Green intended to cause the death of Smith by stabbing him with a knife. The attack resulted in serious physical injury to the trooper that required emergency surgery at Albany Medical Center, the indictment said. Smith has since been released from the hospital.
Green, who is in jail without bail, will be arraigned early next week in Albany County Court, said Albany County District Attorney David P. Soares.
Smith was stabbed in the neck while on a routine foot patrol. Police said Green approached Smith as he walked along the Empire State Plaza concourse, and said that he was new in town and looking for a place to stay. Smith had just asked him for identification when Green allegedly pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed him.
During an ensuing struggle, Smith incurred more wounds to the neck and face and along his arms and hands, police said. Green also tried to take the trooper's handgun, police said, but Smith was able to hold him off.
