They keep going for the guns that do the least amount of killings in this country, they don't give a crap about violence they fear those guns in the hands of law abiding citizens.

They don't care about the guns used to commit the majority of citizen on citizen gun crimes.  They want to eliminate the guns that are equal or greater to that of the civilian police force.

And please you have to stop using the phrase "law abiding" citizen.  When the state can pass arbitrary laws, you can be considered non-law abiding with the stroke of a pen.  That goes for the subjective diagnosis of a "mental illness".  Are more and more people becoming mentally ill, or are more natural human behaviors being defined by the government as mental illness?

just because something is legal doesn't make it right
just because something is illegal doesn't make it wrong

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Gun buy backs, as they've been done in the USA do not work except possibly on a local level.
Gun buy backs at the federal level, as done in Australia, have been 100% effective at preventing mass
shootings there.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Sure, mass shootings have stopped.

But mass stabbings and rampant home invasions/rapes occur every day in every city,
because they know the people are unarmed.

It's much more safe when you surrender yourself to the criminals.

Then they don't have to kill you as much.
