No.  I mean how many non smokers get emphysema, cancer etc, from OTHER PEOPLE SMOKING!

Drinking soda may or may not cut years from your life, but if the person standing next to you drinks
a dozen sodas, it won't impact YOUR HEALTH.

Cigarette smoke is a Class A Carcinogen... just like Asbestos, Chromium VI Particulates, Benzidine
Arsenic Compounds, Vinyl Chloride, Benzene,  4-Aminobiphenyl, and Chloromethyl Methyl Ether,
among others.  Standing next to a smoker is like standing next to a toxic chemical dump!

humans have been smoking since the BEGINNING OF TIME.....the only thing that kills smokers quick and fast are
the chemicals used on the tobacco and in the paper and filters....the only thing we have to blame is the
allowance of others to sell it to us.....quick/cheap and without one's personal sweat aka: easy.........

I dunno.........but less folks are smoking....most homes are smokeless......cars, heating systems, working conditions, osha regulations, clean air act...etc.....and yet there is more cancer today....especially in kids than i can ever remember.

the chemicals/hormones in our foods/water from pesticides, fluoride  and God only knows what else, could be today's new day cancer culprit.

lets be serious here......there is still some serious sh!t out there that is still causing all of these kids to contract cancer.....and it certainly ain't all smoking.

just heard of a 5 year old kid TODAY.....legs were bothering him....went to the doctors.....he has cancer throughout his entire body!!!!!! And how many kids have we heard about in the last few years with cancer just in schenectady county alone? And those are just the ones we hear of.

Tobacco Facts

Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable illness and death
in the United States.

Cigarette smoking causes an estimated 443,000 deaths each year, including approximately 49,000
deaths due to exposure to secondhand smoke.

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women in the United States,
and 90 percent of lung cancer deaths among men and approximately 80 percent of lung cancer deaths
among women are due to smoking.

Smoking causes many other types of cancer, including cancers of the throat, mouth, nasal cavity,
esophagus, stomach, pancreas, kidney, bladder, and cervix, and acute myeloid leukemia.

People who smoke are up to six times more likely to suffer a heart attack than nonsmokers, and the
risk increases with the number of cigarettes smoked. Smoking also causes most cases of chronic
lung disease.

In 2011, an estimated 19 percent of U.S. adults were cigarette smokers.

Nearly 16 percent of high school students smoke cigarettes.
