What kind of idiots design a vote scanner that doesn't display the scanned results, and then ask for you to confirm the votes to be correct?

Are you sure? Y/N

My wife voted at Mohon HS this am, she says the process is a CF!
We are district 7, and we normally vote at the curry rd fire department, but this year we were moved here since they re-did their floors.... The voting administrators are having trouble with the voting forms tearing clean from the the bindings... if it doesn't tear clean, it won't go through the machine right.

I voted at Mohonasen too, but the scanner accepted the ballot without removing the edges. I didn't see anyone removing the edges of the ballots.

Where I voted a man ahead of me filled out his ballot, then put it in the scanner.  It said, 'Your Vote Accepted"
then instead of keeping the paper ballot, it spit it out.  He entered it again, and it again said Your Vote Accepted
and spit it out.  He asked for help, and entered the ballot again, this time it accepted the ballot and kept it.

I wonder if he voted once or 3 times???

Huh? In Niskayuna our forms were placed in individual folders, with no evidence that they ever even had any kind of perforated edges.

We went to individual kiosks, filled them out, and placed them into the shredder tabulator, and a little screen let you know that your vote was cast.
There was no problem whatsoever, and I don't think I was there any longer than 3 minutes from the time I parked, until the time I pulled out.

Then again, we also have indoor plumbing.

No, we don't really have all that many republicans, and the ones that we do have, are smart enough not to live in a place with an economic outlook that rivals that of The Black Hole of Calcutta.

You live in Schenectady County, what makes you think that anyone outside the county is going differentiate the town you're from?

Ask Realtors what fun they have trying to get anyone to move INTO Schenectady County .
