Talladega is known for 'the big one'. Yesterday 'the big one' occurred at the end of the last lap.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral

I sorta expected a crash when they were three and four wide

That was a doozy, glad no injuries, and glad Gordon got around it all to come in 2nd : )

Glad that everybody climbed out safely.  The crash that killed Dale Earnhardt Sr. was nothing compared to the catastrophe that happened in this accident, and many others like it.  Too bad I fell asleep before the end of the race.

at least Tony Stewart admitted to causing the wreck...I kind of like him being on the other end, maybe he won't be so fast to condemn the next driver who does it.

I don't see Stewart as being the case. Waltrip came up from behind and clipped his car causing it to spin.

Look at it again, waltrip had a run on Stewart, stewart was by himself with no drafting help, he knew unless he blocked he was toast. he came down to block waltrip but waltrip got there too quickly.. Stewart admitted it right after being released from the infield car center.

Stewart Takes The Blame:

"It was my fault for blocking while trying to stay where I was at."
Stewart has admitted to starting the wreck at the Talladega Superspeedway that involved 24 cars. Tony
Stewart's car became airborne after a failed blocking attempt of Michael Waltrip and crashed into other
cars on the track.

The pile up looked like the kind of thing that happens anytime the nayboobs hear that the donut shop is offering a free cup of coffee.

You don't have a clue what you are talking about, you know NOTHING whatsoever about racing, racing which generates a FORTUNE for the cities in which they are located, AND they pay lots of taxes.   Schenectady should demolish downtown and create a race track, both the city AND the county would be rolling in the dough, they could actually eliminate property taxes!!!!!!!!!

For the rest on here, those of us who are intelligent, can discuss rationally these issues (with EVIDENCE), how about it was a first for Stewart - that admitting he caused it, there's lots of money in sponsorship.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
