Yup! Do you want to do what's best for the country or what's best for your party. IMO, Republicans like Issa are what's wrong with the Republican party. The GOP used to stand for something... they used to be a force in this country to move the country forward. Now they are the party of NO.
I miss the old GOP

If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything, I miss the moderate Dem as well.

So you miss the "moderate Dems" who were booted by the TeaBaggers??? LMOA!!!

With Unemployment Shrinking and Obamacare Working, The GOP Pushes All In On Benghazi (Justin Baragona)
Quoted Text
On a day where the unemployment rate fell to pre-financial crisis levels, and a month after private insurance enrollments through the ACA exceeded all expectations, Republicans decided to focus on the only thing they now think they can hammer President Obama on — Benghazi. Yes, nearly two years after the tragic events that unfolded on September 11th, 2012 and took the lives of four Americans, House Republicans are pushing for additional investigations into, well, I’m not even sure exactly what it IS they are looking for. It seems to be something to do with talking points and Sunday shows and the White House trying to save face, or something like that.

Unemployment shrinking??
Quoted Text
WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — Despite the unemployment rate plummeting, more than 92 million Americans remain out of the labor force.
The unemployment rate dropped to 6.3 percent in April from 6.7 percent in March, the lowest it has been since September 2008 when it was 6.1 percent. The sharp drop, though, occurred because the number of people working or seeking work fell. The Bureau of Labor Statistics does not count people not looking for a job as unemployed.
The bureau noted that the civilian labor force dropped by 806,000 last month, following an increase of 503,000 in March.
The amount (not seasonally adjusted) of Americans not in the labor force in April rose to 92,594,000, almost 1 million more than the previous month. In March, 91,630,000 Americans were not in the labor force, which includes an aging population that is continuing to head into retirement.
The number of women 16 and older not in the labor force climbed to a record high of 55,116,000 in April, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
This means that there were 55,116,000 women 16 and older who were in the civilian noninstitutional population who not only did not have a job, they did not actively seek one in the last four weeks. That is up 428,000 from the 54,688,000 women who were not in the labor force in March.
Obamacare working?? Really? Prove it!
30% of "enrollees" haven't paid. In some states, it's 50% or more, according to CBS news. 30% of "7 million enrollees" (a magic number they somehow knew they "hit" on April 1 - is 2 million short of even THEIR goal.
In California (Pelosi's playground) - a majority of "enrollees" say they can't get in to SEE a doctor even though they signed up and paid the premiums.
If you still believe Obamacare is "working" - and Unemployment is "shrinking" - you've been drinking WAY too much koolaid and really need to see the real world.
We are advised NOT to judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.
LMAO! The Hard Line Right Wingers know that ObamaCare won't work... It just cant!
Of course 8 million + Americans disagree who now have affordable health care.

You know why they were booted out, it was because they were forced to vote for Obamacare by Obama and the Dems in powerful positions.
Here is a History Lesson for you Shadow
Historical record of midterm elections: Midterm elections are sometimes regarded as a referendum on the sitting president's and/or incumbent party's performance. The party of the incumbent president tends to lose ground during midterm elections: over the past 21 midterm elections, the President's party has lost an average 30 seats in the House, and an average 4 seats in the Senate; moreover, in only two of those has the President's party gained seats in both houses. Often weak incumbents who were swept into office by strong presidential coattails are outed by the opposition party at midterms.[/size]
The MidTerm curse has held true whether it was Dems or Reps in office.

I sure hope that history repeats itself again in November.
It most likely will. The question is how many seats change hands in the Senate. Of course if the American people see that a Strong President managed to force Obamacare and unemployment is down, and the stock market is up and jobs are improving and.... Hey, those things did happen!

So which did you pick Cicero? #1 or #2?
Don't put the $14 million in the post if you don't want anybody responding to it. I responded to the statistic that apparently had nothing to do with the question. That's called a loaded question.
How bout this box, investigate them BOTH. What a concept.
The democrats had two years in which they held complete control of the federal government. When do they plan on investigating the lies about WMD's? How about closing Gitmo?

Ya see Cissy... We were going to "investigate both, but the Head of the Benghazi witch hunt squashed the Bush/Cheney investigation.
