Funny how Cic always seems to be confused by very simple concepts.

The question asked in the poll:
Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion
of Congressional Republicans?
Favorable........................................................ 36%
Unfavorable .................................................... 57%
Not sure .......................................................... 7%

To use Cicero's baseball analogy,
Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion  of the NY Yankees
Pretty simple but Cic wants to discuss "a"  yankee instead of the entire team.

It's funny the way you try and red herring this thread.

Again... I'm still waiting for an actual 'issue' to be presented.

What do you think should be a higher priority
for Congress: investigating Benghazi or
passing a bill requiring background checks for
all gun sales?
Investigating Benghazi.................................... 43%

Passing a bill requiring background checks
for all gun sales ..............................................52%

Not sure .......................................................... 5%

Well box, the comparison of trust is between an individual(Hillary Clinton) and a committee(Republican Party). Not all Republicans are the same, just like all Democrats are not the same.  A republican congressman from NY are not the same as Republicans from Alabama.

It's pretty simple box, the poll is an exercise in false choices.  But I understand, the results fit your agenda.

No Cic, you once again have it wrong.  A poll asked the question... you may not agree with the question
or the answer, but that doesn't change the poll.

The question asked about HOUSE REPUBLICANS... your response was about (as you put it):
a committee(Republican Party).  The Poll didn't include the "Republican Party" as you mistakenly
responded. (You seem very confused today Cic)

There have been polls in the past with the approval rating of (a PERSON) the president,
compared to the US Congress, (a GROUP OF PEOPLE).  You didn't seem to have a problem
comprehending the poll then, but now you are in meltdown stage, because you don't agree
with the results.

" A republican congressman from NY are not the same as Republicans from Alabama" and you
might also have an interesting poll about those views, but that was not what this poll was concerned
with.  (Confusing the data doesn't really help you get your point across)

The Benghazi Scandal Explained:

House Oversight Chairman Darrell Issa  responded to President Obama’s forceful condemnation
of the GOP’s effort to portray his administration’s response to the attacks on the American diplomatic
mission in Benghazi, Libya as a cover-up on Monday, suggesting that the president sought to downplay
the severity of the incident by describing the killings of four Americans as an “act of terror”
rather than a “terrorist attack”

I'm glad that I now understand the total extent of the Republican Outrage!

Not in meltdown, I really don't care about the poll.   I'm just pointing out that it isn't a comparison of apples to apples.  I understand you will never see that, but I'm sure plenty of others understand that it is a poll with false choices.  A poll comparing a former Secretary of State to 233 Republican Congressmen and women is a little more than slightly skewed.

WOW!  You really should tell the major polling groups who regularly compare the US President and the US
Congress approval ratings.

I bet Gallup and Pew will be glad that you straightened them out on this issue.

Ohhhhhh!!!! "major polling groups".  Yeah, I better tell them to educate the reader of their polls about their deceptive polling.LOL

I wonder how many Americans polled answered that question with "you are giving me false choices"?

I wouldn't be shocked that your number is correct.  Americans are easily deceived.  We are starting to see evidence that our government CONSPIRES to deceive the American people and people like you still scream conspiracy theorist when they question the deceiving government.  It would be comical if it wasn't so sad.

I'm still waiting for the explanation as to why the White House sent that woman to all the talk shows to spread a lie about a YouTube Video.
When a teacher hears, "the dog ate my homework", she doesn't think, "poor kid, her mother should watch that dog better". No, a teacher KNOWS, KNOWS, that a story like that is a cover-up for something, most likely, or rather certainly, the child did not do her homework.
Being as I was not born yesterday, when I hear an obvious lie being disseminated, I suspect that someone has something they wish to keep secret. If nothing wrong happened at Benghazi, why was it necessary to come up with a cover story? I don't care who else thinks it is important, and whether they are Democrat or Republican, why did they come up with a story and run with it?

Apparently you missed the part whereby the gun shops are refusing to perform background checks
for non-customers.

You can't just pass laws that force people to offer services on behalf of the Communist government.

When NYS enacted the SAFE act they never thought to ask the gun shop owners if they would offer the
background check services for non-customers. They just dictated the orders. The gun shops are refusing
to comply. When the cases against violators of the SAFE act get thrown out due to jury nullification the laws
will fall apart.
