HAHAHAHAHA!...What a sucker!!

If you have a bank account then why would you ever need Greendot?

Oh, and don't give me that retarded bullshit of websites that don't accept debit/credit.

And you cry about Romney stealing money from the poor, yet you deposit money into a company that charges insane rates and fees?

Look how hypocracy stupid you look now!

Yeah...I went there.

You are a absolute f*cking moron. First off, I'm far from poor, and you know no nothing of my affairs.
I have both business, and personal bank accounts. Whenever I do business with an unknown vendor I use Greendot until I feel they can be trusted. If any Greendot information is stolen, the only money they can steal from me, is what's in the card, and I usually buy the card, use it to buy a few things, then throw it away, because I'm not going to pay a monthly fee.
I'll usually only make about $1k in purchases before I toss it.

The card costs $4 or so, and my security, and anonymity are worth more than that.
I would think that a genius survivalist (chickensh*t) like yourself, would know things like that.
But then again, what could I expect from someone who names themselves after a cheap Chinese pocket knife?

$4 is only "insane" if you are poor. You sound poor. Are you poor Buck?Look how hypocracy stupid you look now!

"Look how hypocracy stupid you look now!"
Now THAT is an intelligent statement, despite the poor spelling.

Thanks, that doesn't do me any good, I don't have a bank account (too many el federales sniffing around).  My SS check goes to a AARP debit card, and I pay everything off that.

This jerkoff sent me $50 and now it's sitting in some anonymous account with my email, that I can't do anything with (don't have a checking acct to send it to, and don't have any place to cash it).   After I told him not to.  Grrr. Morons.

Thanks for all your advice - I'm counting it as a loss I guess.

Can't you cash it at Price Chopper? It is a business generated check, not a personal one.
I'm sure they'll do it, as long as you have a Price Chopper card.
Or you can endorse the check to a friend with an account, and he can cash it for you.
I'd rather do that than just write it off.

There's a catch though - to accept the $ and sign up for the account (required to get paid) - you need to supply setup information, which includes (drum roll please) a CHECKING ACCOUNT for verification.  Catch-22.

My son showed me how to "refuse" the money, so it's back to the sender now, I hope.

Price Chopper asked you that? Or Paypal?
If it was Paypal, then I guess you would have to spend the $4 for a Greendot card, and use that, because I didn't give Paypal any actual banking information at all.
I don't remember PC asking for that information, but I got that card almost 30 years ago, and I didn't have any bank accounts at the time.

In any case, I'm glad you got it resolved.

I have a totally free checking account from the Sunmark credit union on Broadway Hill.

I pay every bill I have with their online bill payment system.

Free. No charges ever.

I can even type in to payment manager your name and address and they will write a paper check and mail it to you for me.

They even pay for the stamps.

ATM fees don't exist either at the Broadway Hill location.
