On this day, 1787, our Constitution was signed by 39 men recognizing all who are born in the U.S., or by naturalization, have become citizens.

Our constitution has been in force for 225 years ... and it only took Obama 3.8 years to trash it.

It is a good day to not only celebrate but stand in defense of this awesome document.  It is under attack from so many fronts.   Besides the direct attacks on it from Mr. Obama and the Paloozipalooza crowd in Congress, the greatest threat to our Constitution is the one caused by ignorance/ambivalence.   Every young person in America should be required to read and study the U.S. Constitution and pass a basic test on it.   Every person elected to Congress and/or reelected should be required to pass the same test before they are allowed to begin their term of office.

And how about you taking a test to learn about taxes before you spew your lies about the county taxes being lower than 50 years ago.   Have you been able to find the evidence of that yet?   Gee, it's been at least a year since you made that comment, and you STILL cannot find any evidence to support that comment.   Obviously you know NOTHING about taxes which just proves you've NEVER been a taxpayer

speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Not arguing with you - but our Constitution has been under assault for quite some time.  In particular, I cite as examples the numerous idiotic attacks from the A.C.L.U. and other groups that have twisted and distorted the Constitution with various outlandish lawsuits,  the several decades old misconception that our Constitution contains the words "separation of church and state" and somehow it is wrong for people of faith to voice opinions in public or otherwise publicly exercise their Constitutional freedom of religion,  and most serious of all was the 1973 Supreme Court ruling - Roe vs. Wade - that ignored the Constitutional rights of the unborn and somehow created from thin air the right of a woman to murder the unborn child within her womb.

Your words: "twisted and distorted the Constitution" then you proceed to give Constitutional Rights
to a clump of cells no bigger than a button.
On what grounds do you grant these Rights as a US citizen???
Why religious grounds... your faith being pushed on the rest of US citizens to further a religious agenda.
"Blending of Church and State"... Just like the Muslims.

Romney Proclaimed "Corporations are People"... and YOU grant "PEOPLE" status to zygotes.

God Bless the US Constitution and the ACLU!!!

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

The fact is that from the moment of conception there exists in the mother's womb an unborn human baby -- not just a clump  of cells.

Vice President Hubert Humphrey once stated that "It was once said that the moral test of Government is how that Government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped."

As a life-long Democrat, I have always believed that the sentiments expressed by Mr. Humphrey should be at the heart of what I (and others in my party believe) -- to stand up and protect the weakest among us .. those without a voice.   So when I stand in defense of the unborn, I am not just stating a religious belief but a deeply and sincerely held political belief as well.   That is why I have always been Pro-Life across the board -- opposed to abortion, euthanasia and the death penalty.

I know that there are many who disagree with my position but I'd much rather err on the side of protecting ALL HUMAN LIFE than to start making exceptions.  Need I remind you that a number of atrocities from slavery to the Holocaust were justified by your way of thinking -- that is -- "well it really isn't human".   The slave-owners claimed that blacks were not fully human.  The NAZIS proclaimed the Jews and others "inferior" to the Aryan race of humans.

You can hurl all the insults that you wish at me but I will NEVER accept that a woman has a constitutional right to kill the unborn child growing within her.

An unborn child.  So it's a baby just days from being born? No Of course not.  It's a clump of cells that
ONE DAY MAY become a baby.

What did Jesus say about abortion??? Follow his words and you'll find good advice from Jesus Himself.

On the subject of abortion... Jesus kept his mouth shut.  He wasn't concerned and never mentioned
it.

YUP! Some start that way and progress to a much greater being... and some clump of cells are
just that.
