Once a BABY, IS a BABY, it should get the same care as any other BABY. There are some who argue every case of abortion as if they ALL were late term abortions, when in reality only a very small percentage of those occur, and many are preformed for valid reasons. |

YA CAN'T SERVE 2 MASTERS!!
Quoted Text
Psalm 127:3-5 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

Psalm 139:13 "you knit me together in my mother's womb."

Suction Abortion ; Also called vacuum aspiration, this is the most common abortion technique in use today. In this procedure a suction tube is inserted through the dilated cervix into the womb. A powerful vacuum tears the placenta from the uterus and dismembers the body of the developing child, sucking the pieces into an attached jar. There is a risk that the uterus can be punctured during the procedure. Also, the abortionist must take care that all the body parts are removed from the womb, as infection and hemorrhage can occur if fetal or placental tissue is left in the uterus.

YA CAN'T SERVE 2 MASTERS!!
Bumbler... You keep posting the biblical phrase..."You Can't Serve 2 Masters". That may make sense to you, but America is NOT a Christian Nation, any more than it is a Muslim, Buddhist or Hindu nation. Your biblical phrases may be a law in your religion, but please don't attempt to justify government policy based on a Christian bible. As I see it, Americans are not forced to serve any masters. Not Govt, not Religion, although many may choose to do so. |

some won't argue late term abortion and the medical validity of them because the percentage of occurrence doesn't reach the threshold arbitrarily determined by the pro abortion people. It's kinda like collateral damage...A few innocent deaths is acceptable if it serves some greater good. It's Stalin's theory of breaking a few eggs to make an omlet. |

So 21 weeks gestation?
At 21 weeks a embryo MAY survive, but often, even with extreme medical intervention that is not assured. Any BABY (don't know how to say it any more clearly that that) has the same medical rights to be treated as any other American. A B A B Y. A H U M A N B E I N G... not a zygote, embryo or fetus... but a BABY! (Because some right to lifers confuse the term fetus with baby, doesn't make it so. They are two separate different things.) Look at it this way Cicero. Your birthday is... say June 1st. It isn't 9 months before that date, because until you are born, you are not a citizen. When you get your drivers license in NY, you must be 16. Not 15 + 3 months. Get it. WHEN YOU ARE BORN, YOU HAVE ALL THE RIGHTS OF ANY AMERICAN. Until then you are an embryo, zygote, fetus... not a American Human Being. If you are born a month premature on June 1st, you still get a NY drivers license at age 16... not at age 16 + 1 month. Time spent in the womb is in preparation to become a human baby... no discounts for an early exit. |

Why is that Bumbler? Why do you think that you must serve any master. I don't. |

At 21 weeks a embryo MAY survive, but often, even with extreme medical intervention that is not assured.
Same can be said about a 40 week human FETUS as a 21 week human FETUS. Life is never assured...But, I would like to think in a compassionate sane society, all human life is looked at as worth saving. Point of this thread is why is medical treatment of a botched abortion denied when a premature birth is treated? |
