How many signs does a candidate need?
Now that the political campaigns are in full swing, we are once again seeing the landscape plastered with political signs.
Those for Joe Landry’s state Assembly campaign are especially numerous and unsightly. In my opinion, these signs do nothing but degrade the town of Niskayuna. Personally, I think they are a turn-off.
I will not vote for a candidate who chooses this method to broadcast his name. I think the town should ban or limit the use of political signs in future campaigns.

Who says HE is putting the signs up? Each individual homeowner makes their choice to put up a sign. Yes,I ignore robocalls. Signs don't sway me but we also don't want the government dictating what we can do. I don't even look at all the printed material because it's all lies, like the year Savage had on her campaign stuff that they lowered county taxes 2%, but when I got my tax BILL the county tax portion actually went up. I guess that's where DV get his info from - the political propaganda LIES (and that's PRECISELY WHY he cannot provide any numbers, NO PROOF WHATSOEVER that the county taxes are the lowest in 50 years. But I can understand some limitations to the time period for people to put up signs |

Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies. |

Stupid....stupid remark by GB.......if you don't know who is running by now from TV......what do you know....
I agree.....signs are an eyesore.....especially when there are 4 or 5 signs for the same person IN THE SAME PLACE.....HOW STUPID IS THAT???

Or at least make require that they be made of paper, not plastic. That way they will not choke me when I add them to the wood stove. |
