It really is a message that would resonate well if they could just get past some of their biases that have been there from the Democratic machines that have made us look like we don’t care about this community. And that is not true. We very much care about you and your families and the opportunities that are there for you and your families.
The Republicans care about Latinos: Willard, the most anti immigrant candidate in the GOP primaries... Willard, who touted a plan to make undocumented immigrants so uncomfortable that they would “self-deport.” Willard, who promised to veto the DREAM Act Just look at the anti Latino GOP legislation in Arizona!
How did Ann put it... if they could just get past some of their biases

For me the highlight of the Republican convention was the rain out on the first day. It was inspiring! To think... the GOP is SO BAD, that even GOD wanted to end their convention.
apparently they were in GOD'S cross-hairs.....
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
TAMPA, Fla. — There is no mistaking what a successful keynote speech for Chris Christie would have looked and sounded like. There would have been an electric reaction from the crowd in the convention hall. It would have been followed by waves of effusive media commentary about how people had just heard the future of the Republican Party. Judged by these standards, there is also no mistaking what the New Jersey governor delivered instead: A prime-time belly-flop, one that notably failed to clear either of those two high bars. Governor Christie gave a good keynote speech. He has been successful in tackling many of his state's problems -- and he laid out a very good argument for why Romney is the better choice than the current occupant of the White House.
My favorite speakers on Tuesday were a young man from the Colorado delegation who spoke briefly during the afternoon and former Democratic Congressman Artur Davis who spoke during prime time. Davis seconded Obama's nomination in 2008 and has since grown disillusioned with the Democratic Party and become a Republican. Davis should have been the keynote speaker because he succinctly and eloquently voiced the frustration and anger of independents and Democrats who will join Republicans in electing Mitt Romney as the the 45th President of the United States.

Tonight they will resurrect the Ghost of Reagan Past... It's said his ghost has come back to haunt today's Republicans for screwing things up even worse than he did.
Speaking of "old Hollywood B Actors..., the GOP worships Hollywood, so they'll probably dig up some old Hollywood actor to speak in a lame attempt to punch up viewers.

Seriously, they can't even manage a stupid convention. What evidence do they have that they can run the country?
Convention coordinators forgot to book buses to take the Florida delegation to the convention, stranding angry officials at a hotel about 40 minutes from downtown Tampa.
"Well, that sucks," Hillsborough County GOP chair Art Wood told the Tampa Bay Times. "I guess it won't be the first glitch."
He was right. ABC News reports that when a last-minute bus finally came, the driver got lost on the way to the Tampa Bay Times Forum -- prompting one person aboard to suggest the driver was a Democrat.
It was the latest in a round of humiliations for the home state delegation, who were given less desirable seats, fewer VIP passes, "second-class" hotel rooms, and other penalties as a punishment for scheduling their primary earlier than March, according to the Miami Herald.

I don't listen and/or watch any of these conventions....reps or dems!!
They are ALL nothing more than a circus act for the egotistical.
And the sheople actually 'rate' it like they were the panel on AMERICAN IDOL!!! It's just that funny!

Hey Look!!! Somehow a black person got into the Republican National Convention!!! Oh wait.... Never mind.
It's just Condi, giving a speech.

OMG! What is this world coming to??? There is a woman on the stage of the Republican National Convention SPEAKING SPANISH!
Isn't "English Only" part of the Republican agenda... I guess the "English Only" part comes AFTER election day.
Oh wait... It gets worse!!! There is a Spanish Speaking Woman on the stage... Speaking Spanish and
AND... She admits that she carried a .357 mag!!! Someone Call Security!!!

Everyone who tells their story at the GOP convention, tells of "IMMIGRATION". Their parents or grandparents were IMMIGRANTS... Anyone see a problem here? The Romney/Ryan gang hammer IMMIGRATION for months, wanting to go to extremes to arrest, capture, detain deport, immigrants... even to the point of taking American's... born in this country but undocumented, and forcing these Americans to leave our country... Then Willard lines the stage with Sons, Daughters and Grandkids of IMMIGRANTS. They want to make ENGLISH THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE of AMERICA, yet they welcome Hispanics to speak on their stage in their attempt to capture the Latino Vote. ENGLISH ONLY ... (unless it will buy me one vote then it's ok). Scan the shouting, delegates looking for color... It's a sea of white... with the exception of the stage, where women and color are in their token designated space.
